  1. It is all in the family.
  2. Oct. 6-7 which is Friday and Sat. Info Sandy or Ron 717-626-8544.
  3. Heavy duty tractor with original style through the hood exhaust and offset cab.

  5. Of course they did. If they drove separately, they would be fighting over whose car would be picked for the photo...
  6. Aircraft refuelers ran exhaust out the front. It almost seems like there are more of these combos out there than they originally built....?
  7. Glad you are gaining on it. Worn parts will make it tough to make a good adjustment.
  8. Congrats! If they make it to the truck stop, maybe the famous kielbasa stew will be on the menu.
  9. Nice! Would look good next to your L!
  10. Fine looking examples on display at Ballston Spa, NY 2017.

  11. I first recall the RB around 1989 and I believe they went until 2003-2004 or so.
  12. Huh... VW... TDI... warranty...
  13. This Cummins powered FH was on display at Ballston Spa 2017. The Jaeger cement mixer is run by a Hercules engine. FH 1 C 1139 Mack built 265 FH's between 1937-1941.
  14. Without more history on what happened, maybe I would first try to bar the engine over. After six years, base your offer on at least a rebuild in your future.
  15. Trailer wasn't there that I know of but I would guess it is for a low boy of some sort. Definitely had some scrapes and chips but looked really pretty good in work clothes. Most municipality trucks don't stay in the fleet for 28 years so the crew must like the Liner.
  16. Have a 6-71 and the 53 series makes me cringe. The sound just seems more intense.
  17. The Town of Lake George Highway Department, this might be your daily driver.
  18. It is a killer gear! With the trans. OD, it should be about a 6.90 in high fifth which isn't too bad for the higher rpm gas engine. Would be good in the hills but you won't win any races on the flat.
  19. Actually there were two interesting Detroit powered rigs at Ballston Spa. I didn't take a picture of the blue rat Mack. This little rig started as a B-42T but has been customized with a Detroit Diesel 8V53. The 8V53 is fairly rare and usually seen in marine applications. This truck also features a Clariben aftermarket tilting hood.
  20. Uh.... OK. You mean that wasn't a factory option.....?
  21. Very nice example on display at Ballston Spa, NY 2017. I like that it features a "duplexer" transmission.
  22. This was at 2870 East. https://libwww.freelibrary.org/digital/item/40362
  23. Yes, he stopped by to say hello while I was visiting with Bob.
  24. Nice! The sun was working against me for a pic.
