  1. Looks like you had some nice iron to check out! With the pictures, if you can reduce the size of the image (pixels) through the computer editing program it will use less space on the BMT server or you can try a third party picture hosting site that can be linked to your post.
  2. Great looking tractor with Mack V8 power.
  3. Congrats! FE power lives on!
  4. Looks like the show had a fine mix of rig's to check out.
  5. Was a dump truck before being rebuilt as a wrecker. Then could retrieve the company's dump trucks if needed.
  6. Time to call the insurance company.
  7. Decisions, decisions....... All have possibilities!
  8. Mike Yarnall's fabulous B model wrecker. The original EN 464 gas motor was replaced with a Mack 711 oil burner.
  9. Also check your cables and cable ends. I had an older jumper cable between two batteries that seemed good but come to find out it was all green corrosion and disintegrated on the inside causing lots of electrical resistance and sending the ohmmeter sky high.
  10. Nice video. You did an excellent job while being interviewed representing yourself and the racing series.
  11. Nice! Good way to stretch the legs on the Dog.
  12. Too bad the dealer threw their books out. Lot's of good info in them.
  13. Kysor A/C on the roof for a little comfort and a hood scoop for the tip turbine.
  14. Happy Birthday Ken! Even with retirement, you will always have your bread route.
  15. Yes, it was the B-71 with a 220.
  16. Congrats! Hope you get along well with your new boss.
  17. Pics please! Have fun looking around.
  18. Could be. I don't have a further breakdown on how the U-400's were used. The two 400's that I have seen were single axle tractors with Scania power. The Air Force did have quite a few refueling tankers on a DM-492 chassis with the 3208 CAT engine and automatic trans.
  19. Would have been a good purchase! Besides the B-47 (437 units), the END 465 was put in B-13 (124), B-23 (131), B-33 (437) also.
  20. Try Kevin All 607-434-1063
  21. It would be a rare catch with only 7 built.
  22. Info from a spec sheet shows 464 CID NA, 155 brake HP @ 2600 rpm with 350 lb ft of torque @ 1600 rpm. A little screamer at 2600 rpm! Saw action with U-403 1965-1967 with 124 units built. DM-403 1966-1969 249 units MB-403 1964-1968 907 units R-403 1965-1969 1,376 units R-403R 1965-1968 96 units (right hand drive)
  23. The U-400 platform had a couple of options. U-401 END-475 Scania diesel U-403 END-465 Thermodyne diesel U-410 EN-414 Chrysler 413 V8 gasoline U-487 ENDT-475 Scania turbo diesel U-492 CAT 3208 diesel The engines listed above were not available in the U-600 platform. I have only seen two U-400 models of the 316 units built and the frame dimensions and spring packages appeared to be the same as the U-600.
  24. Recall a rubber piston cup being inside. https://www.baumhydraulics.com/files/catalog/sec-g.pdf Scroll down to G11 to check out the sizes.
