  1. Nice project! Should have adequate power to get down the road.
  2. You were pretty disappointed to see that chain drive was not on the spec sheet for the Granite dump trucks if I recall correctly......
  3. OK Thanks. Should be good for another million miles or so.
  4. What method of repair was done to the lower tank? Welding, epoxy or other?
  5. Two styles. Change was made around 1979.
  6. In 1979, the door changed slightly. A new set up can go into an older +3 cab but the door lock mechanism was relocated so it won't line up. Door will work but won't lock. With mods yes, bolt in no. The latch for yours should be 62QS424R if you try the new style.
  7. It is amazing the number of folks that think the 359/389 peterbilt or the kw 900 are still a fresh design considering both started in the early 1970's. I would hope there are enough Mack fans that a run of Superliner Legend's, if properly done by the parent company, could be seen on the road. The recent past history of the parent company indicates it would never happen.
  8. Shown at Macungie with V8 power under the hood.
  9. Brake caging bolts. Any truck shop will have them. https://www.ryderfleetproducts.com/ryder/af/ryder/core/content/product/srm/oid/157816/erm/productDetail.do?utm_source=googlebase&utm_medium=search&utm_campaign=product&gclid=CMSNt-PVoNQCFR5XDQodFZcCxQ
  10. Pretty good size truck for 1919.
  11. Farr air cleaner assembly missing the louvered cover.
  12. That is a good connection. Last I checked on Goodyear MT's, the price was about $500 a pop!
  13. Nice! You have got to love "new" parts and their quality. Always liked the MT tires but never liked their price.
  14. Dang! You do have a plan mister. If the sleeper is fresh white paint, how about the cab and fen.....? Anyway.. Good thing I am 581.3 miles from your place because with the luck I have had today, you don't want me too close.
  15. Somebody was going to try a chamber such as a Haldex MA15775 or MA2475 DIO on a B80 series but never heard what the result were. May have to use an offset slack adjuster.
  16. Nice! A few bucks just in permit fees for that one.
  17. Fiddle, fix, adjust, file, weld, think, measure, modify, cut, thread, adjust again, grind,...... Repeat if necessary.
  18. The MOPAR ad is killer!
  19. Now restored, this AB shaft drive had previously been at the Kemp Mack Museum. There is another cab sitting on the rear frame of the AB in the before picture.
  20. I would have to swap out the K dub's for a Dog!
  21. Would be great to transport my stash of potato chips! Does have a couple of changes but is pretty clean for when it was built.
  22. Nice dogs!
  23. Sort of thinking it might not be able to supply enough fuel to take advantage of the 676. Settings are different between a thermodyne and a maxidyne.
