  1. Good to hear Mike! One way or another , keep on truckin'!
  2. Sheila said we were at the beach. Where else would all the sand have come from.....?
  3. This 1927 model 15-30 runs like a fine watch. A couple of other McCormick Deering models to look at.
  4. Every kid wanted to be a playboy and drive a Bulldog.
  5. B's started in 1953. Maybe an L model? Here is a pdf of a commercial B wiring diagram. The link will get you there. Obviously there will be some fire only wiring that will be specific to your truck vs. a commercial chassis.
  6. I was told to stay out of her pockets. Too bad I wasn't listening!
  7. Not up on the newer stuff but the filter number used to be printed on the side of the filter canister. Thinking around 8 gals. will be needed for an oil change.
  8. Wait a second.... The post is titled "A day at the beach" BS! Where is the beach??? OK. Fixed it.

  14. Originally was to run ATF, but ATF has changed a lot in 50 years with more friction additives put into it. Supposedly, Type F has the least amount of friction additives so it is a good choice.
  15. Depending on the situation, welding may be doable or not. I had several cracks welded on the aluminum radiator tanks for my 1959 B-75 about 8 years ago. Knock on wood, no discernible issues.
  16. I would check with a welding shop to see if they could fix it up. Doesn't look like it would be too bad.
  17. Good timing. Spring planting time is now.
  18. Interesting. Last I knew Brian @ Joseph Equipment in Manchester had bought Arnold's truck yard.
  19. 24.5 radials are the replacements for 22 bias. They are plentiful but you will need to get 24.5 tires mounted on 24.5 rims or wheels. DO NOT MIX 24.5 tires on your 22 wheels or rims!!! For a hobby truck, I would visit some truck tire shops and see if you could pick up some used tires and rims already mounted. 24.5 rims will mount on your 22 spokes or hubs.
  20. Site functions seems OK at the moment. I use Firefox.
  21. Bet you can do a bunch of spot welds with that one!
  22. He was having computers problems trying to get on the site. Maybe still having issues?
  23. Sounds like you may have bought the trailer from Arnold Cohen.
