  1. A light weight single axle would be about 11,000 lbs and a tandem would start about 13,000. Either chassis will be more depending on exact specs.
  2. That is like 1,711 miles each way so there will probably be a couple interesting things to take a quick pic along the way. Got anything good for a back haul?
  3. Except for the 10 or so of their restaurants that are currently located in MN. One location is the University of Minnesota.
  4. This B-61 has the optional contour cab (CA 27) and is hooked to a 1951 Trailmobile trailer that was part of Mack's internal fleet.

  5. Goes along with Sgt. Stripe truck mirrors.
  6. but how well you mow fast. Hmmm... hope the mower deck still fits.
  7. Is the power steering system the old B style with the pump off the back off the generator? I looked at a Mack B operation manual and it list for hydraulic P/S to use Type "A" Suffix "A" automatic transmission fluid. I agree that there is probably way more friction additive in the ATF now than there was in ATF 53 years ago. On later rigs with the PS steering pump on the back of the compressor, it runs engine oil. Another vote for P/S fluid if it is the early stand alone set up.
  8. Gaskets are available for the manifold gaskets.
  9. Pull the assembly, open the shaft and soak in almost any solvent. Diesel, gasoline, kerosene, paint thinner, brake clean, etc.
  10. Oklahoma wobblers must be legal west of the Mississippi .....?
  11. Link for a RT-613 and RTO-613 transmission manual may be helpful. Page 5 and 6 have the ratios and the shift pattern. Includes a note that the 7/12 and 8/13 hole is reversed positioned on the RTO. http://discounttrucktransmissions.com/wp-content/uploads/56_fuller-RT-613-transmission-service-manual.pdf
  12. Great looking log truck and trailer combination originally from the northwest.
  13. Welcome! Every so often I see CM manuals and parts on ebay. The CM has a little less power than your old Super or Ultra!
  14. You also should inspect the fuel lines to see if they wet on the outside, damaged, etc. They may be given you a problem pulling the fuel up from the tank. Old fuel lines can deteriorate inside and cause issues.
  15. Welcome! Yup, cut it out and put in new metal. For a hobby truck, I might not do any undercoating. How about a couple more pictures of the truck?
  16. I'm offended because you're offended....
  17. Wicked!
  18. Hmmmm..... where did they hide the DEF tank....?
  19. Repaint in Abilene colors and put into service....
  20. There goes the neighborhood.... Sounds good!
  21. Early trucking in America. There is a Reo lawn mower in the bed.
  22. My condolences. That is way too young.
  23. In 1985, Mack engine family 11 included the EM6 237 2 VH turbocharged only. Engine family 14 included the EM6 250L which was a 4 VH CMCAC.
  24. An LJ could be a straight truck also. Early LJs had three hood strips. Early L models had the crank out windshields and in many cases no vent windows in the door. This truck appears to have 24" spokes more typically seen on LJs.
  25. There was availability of an EM6 237 in 1985.
