  1. Yeah, that didn't work....
  2. Probably Laughed and said "Wish we had them."
  3. The last four digits of the DOT number is the date code. First two numbers represents the week and the last two are for the year. "1501" means fifteenth week of year 2001.
  4. F model production run 1962-1981.
  5. Hell of a way to start the weekend.
  6. Soon to be terrorizing the neighborhood!
  7. Haven't done that exact swap but have found over the years that very rarely does interior stuff bolt in. There will always be a little difference. Nothing to be afraid of.
  8. The Select Air valve was used on several Mack transmission such as the 12 spd, X107 air 6 spd, T2070B or T2080B.
  9. Nuss Truck put together this 1991 Superliner with dual air cleaners, floats and a one off "Hagerstown Special" engine called a Maxidyne 650.
  10. B model vent windows haven't been available through Mack for quite a while. The windows show up on ebay and other places for sale ever so often. Last NOS pair that I heard about was $1,600.00 for the pair and they sold in a New York minute. With patience and $$$ they can be rebuilt. It will be less than 1600 bucks!
  11. Might be worth a call to.... http://www.camerota.com/products/#manual-transmissions http://www.globaltrucktraders.com/

  15. Dang Hippy! You need a shorter driveway.
  16. Sure looks tasty! Sort of a strange New England day when you can go snowmobiling in a T shirt...
  17. Sure looks clean! I will let you handle the 100' something height. My resume says GROUND GUY ONLY.
  18. The small Mack wheel is 18" and a tilt column was available. Hubs more than likely can be converted for aluminum wheels. Some super heavy spec rear axles can not be changed to disc wheels.
  19. Tell us a little more. Is it an E or L model? The motor number is on a machined pad on the left side front at the top of the block. May say ENF510-1034 for example. Is the dipstick gone?
  20. Nice! I believe First Gear had a 1/25 scale model series like that.
  21. There was a Superliner owners manual PDF in the site Wiki which can't be accessed anymore unless you have a Volvo user name. Try sending "Barry" (admin of site) a PM and see if he can assist you. He may also be able to help with the trans. PDF.
  22. Could inquire with these folks. http://www.thecarburetorshop.com/
