    Double checked a 1984 Mack manual and it shows a top O ring seal. Then 2 O rings about 1/3 of the way down either side of the weep hole. The bottom has gasket at the injector nozzle.

    As with any truck, look it over carefully for any damage. 2004 is not a well liked year here in the states for various electronic/emission issues. If you can look at the truck's maintenance records or get some history on the truck, that may be helpful with your decision.

    The stuff said above and there are no glow plugs.

    Sounds about right on the compression test. Usually takes 4 or 5 hits for the PSI reading. Would be nice if it was a little higher a number.

    Sounds like you may be on to something with the module if it is looking like road kill. Your Mack dealer should be able to get you a wiring diagram.
