  1. My recollection on a little older truck with a different air shift trans. had the air supplying the trans. air filter off the parking brake valve. The air fed the trans shift mechanism and the torque limiter and then sent the air from the torque limiter to the "IN" port on the valve on top of the intake manifold. The "OUT" line runs to the injection pump. "SIGNAL" will be from the boost in the air intake. With the parking brake set, there will be no air in the system allowing more rack in the pump for quicker start and warm up in cold weather.

Is that how you plan on making your famous family apple crisp in the orchard?
  3. There is a PLE (Puff Limiter Extension) number stamped on the pump. You also have to measure the throw of the air cylinder. The example in the manual shows throw of 1.125" minus PLE of 1.037" so the shim should be the difference at 0.088" On an American pump, the PLE info is stamped in front of the No. 1 injector outlet on top of the pump. On a Robert Bosch pump, the PLE is stamped above the throttle arm near the top of the housing.
  4. The outriggers are hard to see but they are there. http://www.podshop.se/Links/12/BD-1055-EN-EU_L.pdf

  14. I thought it was pretty slick for a custom wagon.
  15. Elvis was just here showing off his latest Cadillac wagon project.
  16. A30 would be a gasoline Magnadyne 331 5 speed with about a 19,000 GVW. Trim parts will be a little tricky, mechanical parts not bad and sheet metal may require a patch to be made or donor parts. So, pretty much like finding parts for other trucks projects.
  17. Here is a previous post on the very last B built. http://www.bigmacktrucks.com/topic/35547-a-very-solemn-day-april-281966/#comment-243573
  18. Yes it is but I was trying to keep your ownership of a Detroit Diesel powered rig quiet. Hmmmm..... Detroit and quiet don't go together!

  20. Very clean 1966 Mack B53 chassis which previously had a block delivery body on back.
  21. It is probably in North Korea for use in a future plan by Kim Jong Un.
