    Haven't heard "anti sway". Does it have a transverse torque rod? A couple of pictures would help. Mack runs two torque arms between the two diffs parallel to the frame. Depending on specs, there would be a third torque arm running perpendicular from the rear diff to the outside frame rail and that is a transverse torque rod.

    Shouldn't be a problem but until you get in and see what any previous repairs have done, you won't know for sure. All the studs and all the rim clamps should be the same on both sides of the axle.

    The hood ornament will be a longed ear dog with a chest patent number of 87931. May be able to score a nice one of fleabay as well as the side dogs. Brand new side dogs can be purchased at Watt's Mack who owns this forum.
