  1. Windshields are the same between CF and F. R model are different. The doors are the same with the exception of the sheet metal piece at the bottom of the door which is used in conjunction with the recessed threshold as used on U, DM, CF, etc. The lower sheet metal part can be fabricated and installed or removed depending on your situation.
  2. Nice that it isn't totally beat up.
  3. Here is an ad from a 1994 ATHS Wheels of Time magazine where the restored FCSW water tanker is being sold by Tom Spencer, He is also selling what is listed as a 1943 FCSW dump truck. Maybe it is the same dump truck as the 1942 Nuss truck in the first picture and they initially were using the wrong date? Whatever the story, glad that both trucks were saved and available for shows every so often. Rare beasts!
  4. Sorry. Been messing with oil today so I had oil on the brain. I will look for some info.
  5. Can get them through WIX filter. If you have the full flow/bypass Clarifier style filter with one little line and two BIG lines on the bottom, the filter is Wix 51233 and gasket 15114. It crosses to Baldwin filter #P706M and Mack #236GB311A. There is also a Luberfiner bypass style filter with 2 small lines which is a Wix 51750.
  6. Pretty sure they were the same with part #4MF426AP4.
  7. Can't reveal any details because the statute of limitations is not yet up on some of the ....... events. Yeah, that's it. Events!
  8. This is from 1983 which will be in the ball park. Click the pdf link. http://www.bigmacktrucks.com/tutorials/article/55-r-model-wiring-diagram/
  9. Don't have any spare brackets. 6.20 was a ratio used behind gas motors. Transposed the numbers, it would have been #504
  10. Hmmmmm........ Well....... You have been breathing in a lot of bondo dust and paint fumes lately.....
  11. IDK. That is not an early version of an R-771 with a DD 12V71N though...
  12. Hope not.
  13. A little blurry picture of two excellent and Huge Mack FCSW. The grey dump truck is a 1942 and the water tanker is a 1943. Unknown Macungie show participant gives an idea of how large these trucks are.
  14. Stop in when you can 220.
  15. Welcome! Here is a B model hauler thread that may give you some ideas. http://www.bigmacktrucks.com/topic/6853-b-model-car-hauler/ This link is to a members custom cab and a half that needs a new home. http://www.bigmacktrucks.com/gallery/image/16232-custom-cab-unique/
  16. That is a rig for a Road Trip!
  17. Interesting project! Hope the roads in your neighborhood are smooth.
  18. From a 1984 O/H manual. Don't have an 87 manual. The nozzle holder clamping screw is shown at 75 lbs.
  19. Nice piece of history! Mack made 368 B-80X and SX models. Don't have a figure for the X only.
  20. One heck of a paperweight! How about a couple more pics as you go along.
  21. Nice project! Parts will be a little tricky. There was a company that had an interior cardboard kit a while back but they no longer do it. This Guide light is not a bad replacement but not exact to the original. http://www.speedwaymotors.com/Guide-682-C-Style-Headlight-Black,8929.html
  22. The gear housing in front of the injection pump will be stamped so you can identify for sure what you have. Will be better to make a plan if you know what the base is.
  23. May belong to "beatngu". He is up in that area.
  24. Good job folks! Nice that you got back to the house before you had to chain up due to the weather.
