  1. Hello Tim! Glad you are doing well! Always appreciate the scenery pictures. How does the new neighborhood weather/seasons compare to the NEK now that you have been there for a day or two?
  2. Manuals show up for sale every so often on ebay.
  3. I can't answer your question. Here is a link to the official Commonwealth of PA Health C-19 info so you can see what the state is saying about the situation daily. It may help give some insight to base decisions for your family. https://www.health.pa.gov/topics/disease/coronavirus/Pages/Coronavirus.aspx
  4. Yes, COE guys aren't allowed to have what they want... X2 on having a new cover made or dying the material. I had the seat cover from a seat taken apart to provide the pattern for some new material and it turn out great. It was a while ago and was about $500 which was less than a new seat. Dying is OK but might show wear in a work truck fairly quickly.
  5. A bad day of fishing is still better than.....
  6. WHAT!!! The lame stream media didn't report the whole story in a thorough and accurate way...?
  7. That is an RD model even though the emblem says R600. It was available with the familiar fiberglass tilt hood or the optional steel butterfly hood. The RD model was introduced by Mack in 1970. The RD was built with heavy duty components for severe service. That would be a good chassis for the weight of a fire truck tanker.
  8. That Bezos is making bank with Amazon and the C-19 crisis and then has the Washington Post (Bezos owned) crap on most everything being done to fight it that doesn't align with their standards. Always best when you can play both sides of the fence!
  9. U model started in 1964 and the R and DM started in 1965.
  10. Yellow DMM driven front axle offset cab. Blue RM driven front axle center cab.
  11. As always, have a swinging time!
  12. I have a picture also but it is MIA at the moment. No doubt he has done a number of mods over the years.
  13. That's one way to true the rear tires!
  14. Nice! Springs made in the USA!
  15. 359 Brockway with a 48 ft van.
  16. Slugs....? Bob, time to stock up on coffee and ammo because a posse is being rounded up...
  17. Pictures from the Rutland, VT truck show in 2000. Bright red B75. For Matt Pfahl's green 1955 B61, this was before an engine swap and lengthened frame rails for the soon to be installed bunk.

  19. Seen at the 2016 Green Mountain Show.
  20. I wouldn't mind having one of the late 70's R711 trucks with the ET673 260 HP 6 cylinder.
  21. 1974 Mack DM685 dump truck updated to 350 Tip Turbine and 12 speed at the fuel island.
  22. One or more of the injectors may need to be rebuilt because it is dumping fuel. Do you have maint history with the truck? Engine hours? Been rebuilt? Has cylinder compression been checked? More details the better.
  23. Excellent project trucks! SAE 30 or 40 non detergent oil is what you will want to use. SAE 30 would work for most and the 40 would be for 90 degrees or higher extended outside temp. Make sure the oil has ZDDP (zinc/phosphorus) as part of the oils recipe or get some ZDDP as an additive to use with the oil. ZDDP used to be in most oil but has been removed for emission reasons as it will kill catalytic converters. Back in the day, these trucks would run 500-1000 miles and have the oil changed.
