  1. 185 for water temp, 195 if working hard in hot/humid weather. If it isn't making bad noises you may be ok and the gauge/sending unit is no good.
  2. Some possibilities there!
  3. Here are a couple of trespassing signs that might work in VA and ME. You have to supply your own ammo.
  4. Hope you are gaining on it. Interesting..... I thought for sure you used the MH for Christmas shopping trips.
  5. Hiding spot....? I thought they finally gave up looking for you.
  6. Nah, you are thinking of her sister Sharon.
  7. Pretty sure this is it. 1954 Mack LTLSW.
  8. Looks Nice! An LJT is a model LJ built as a single axle tractor which is indicated by the "T".
  9. Can't help. Best of luck. Crackerboxes were even more prone to rusting out than an F model Mack.
  10. Pick up the DT COE tipper or the Binder hook.
  11. You are going to need a bigger trailer....
  12. Years ago, with a glider kit, the customer supplied the engine, transmission and rear axles with suspension.
  13. 4.17 will be a good gear for pulling a detachable with a B87 riding along.
  14. Were you late getting home?
  15. Grote has one that is a fairly decent match. Aluminum or steel. http://www.grote.com/family/aluminum-two-hole-mounting-reflector/?prodcat=reflectors http://www.grote.com/family/steel-two-hole-mounting-reflector/?prodcat=reflectors
  16. Here is a 691GC218CP5X that came off a 1985 285. The yellow dot is the port for the manifold SIGNAL. The red is OUT to the pump. The lime green is the port at the end for air IN.
  17. Hey RH, It would make a nice tour. Here is a link with pictures and directions for the covered bridges. The County Bridge isn't within my 7 mile radius but it is just a little north of Peterborough. Currently, the Thompson Bridge is closed because Main St is under construction for water, sewer, drainage, curbing, etc. I would say it should be open again in about 2 weeks (maybe?) It is such you can walk up to it even with the construction. http://www.southwestnh.com/outdoors/bridges.html
  18. Mack OEM spec is between 18-24 psi at full load for a 237.
  19. Hi Vlad. For reference only.... Bigger is better!
  20. In my corner of the world, there are six active covered bridges within 7 miles of my house. A nice little bit of history to see.
  21. As far as I know, it is the longest. Supposedly there are a couple with slightly longer clear spans but they are for pedestrians only. This one is rated at 10 tons so cars and pickups aren't an issue.
  22. Very true. Leaf peepers will be everywhere!
  23. The 449 ft long wooden Cornish-Windsor Bridge crossing the Connecticut River between NH and VT with Mt. Ascutney beyond.
  24. More bigger, more better!
