  1. Did he let you make Vvroooom, Vvrooooom sounds?
  2. I don't have an air 12 speed here to look at but I would probably try to be creative in plumbing the dash switch. The low range of the front compound will only engage when the main box is in first gear due to a positive interlock inside the transmission.
  3. Looks like a good unit! You will be better equipped for the next wildfire which hopefully will stay away.
  4. This may not be the case but I have sometimes run into National Pipe Straight thread (NPS) which is different than National Pipe Taper thread (NPT) when searching for bits and pieces. Both threads have the same shape, angle and pitch. NPT threads are tapered and the NPS thread are straight or parallel. If this is redundant information please disregard the last transmission.
  5. Only seem to be finding a diagram for the 1070. Can't seem to find one that includes the dash mounted air switch plumbing for the front compound on the B. Quite a bit of the 1070 diagram will apply to the one you are working on.
  6. I thought Ron ordered dual rear wheels and a stack.....?
  7. Thought #1. If trucks are outlawed, only outlaws will have trucks. Thought #2. The mayor of NYC should be banned.
  8. Ahhh.... the joys of loading trikes. Good Job!
  9. The X107 and X1071 were available in the 80's. The trans case will be stamped on the driver's side about the middle.
  10. TRXL107 6 speed has a low first gear ratio of 14.10 and the high side is the same as your existing 5 speed. TRX107A is air shift version. TRXL1071 has a super low 23.08 ratio. TRXL1071A air shift.
  11. My recollection is the front of this 1985 Maxidyne engine stayed stock for installation in a 1959 B75. The stock 1985 clutch and six speed were also used because the truck had no drive train at all. With care, the triplex may live with the modern engine.
  12. That is one big mason's dump body.
  13. hope they get some attention soon.
  14. OEM would be the END864 with 255 BHP @2300 and torque of 639 @ 1700 rpm.
  15. Ahhh..... the joys of adjusting doors with little/no adjustment. The latch mechanism on my drivers door was badly warn and I scored a better one at show that solved most of the issues for latching. With correct style of weatherstrip installed, my E doors look like the are open even when latched completely and require a little bit of a "slam". Wish I had some better advice.
  16. Fantastic! Hope the V8 doesn't need much. Like most of us here, You're going to need a bigger garage!
