  1. Damn! I hate when nothing is in the budget......
  2. Good luck with your project. I have zero information on Scania products so can't offer any assistance. Certainly will be unique with Scania power.
  3. The LJ does look to be a good score!
  4. Have fun and get the whole set!
  5. The rubber is probably $3000. I am sure Pat didn't pay more than $3,500 for a used up Mack dump truck with no paint and no air conditioning........
  6. Looks Fantastic! Are you still in the lettering trade?
  7. The OP hasn't been on in a while and his location was listed as Alaska.
  8. It is a B73 or B77, can't remember which at the moment. The B73, 75 or 77 could either have the standard B cab or the L cab. The 73 and 77 were Cummins powered and the 75 was Mack powered.
  9. Nicely done! Got to love it when trucks can be repaired with hardware store parts.
  10. If that is the case, it is one fine looking sleeper!
  11. When I am on usually I don't see the Chat icon lit. Maybe others check it out but they are shy?
  12. The boys in the shop are going to be kept busy!
  13. Well..... that is not pretty but I bet it makes money and isn't in the shop because the fetzer valve sensor threw up on 611 in Doylestown.
  14. The 300 Plus Thermodyne will have the top of the cam gear housing in front of the pump stamped ETAZ673A and the 300 Maxidyne will be stamped ENDT676.
  15. I saw that. My Mack literature indicates the start with 1954.
  16. The H-61 was known as the "Cherry Picker" because of its height and ran from 1952-1957 with 484 units. There was also an H-60 which was the gasoline powered version between 1953-54 with 81 units produced. The truck shown for sale is an H-63 built from 1954-1958 with 4,091 built.
  17. Bolting and welding to the added outside flange which in turn is bolted to the web of the frame rails is OK. After a couple of jobs, that pile of receipts will get smaller. Looks Good!
  18. Beans per mile...? It will be difficult for me to do the math because I use cabbage per mile. What is the bean conversion per slice of cabbage? Might have to break out the old slide rule for this....
  19. Nice! Is the van trailer going to be converted to haul a certain race truck?
  20. The CL? That Sucks!!! They must have some lifting equipment to steal a cab.
  21. If there is a coaster involved, I will wait to have the hot sausage grinder and cotton candy until later.
  22. Nice! As always, lacking space and money.
  23. If it ran out of fuel it may have picked up some junk in the fuel lines running to the engine. Disconnect the lines at the tank and before it goes into the filter and shoot 5-10 psi air pressure to see if they are clear. Don't know what happened but didn't see this post until today.....?
