  2. The offset cab makes the above truck a U model.
  3. This bunch rebuilds air wipers. Maybe who you are thinking about. http://www.rometruckparts.com/
  4. Damn, the hits keep on coming.
  5. Nice to get the Diamond T out for a drive and a show.
  6. Here are a couple of naked chassis for pumpers that were at the Macungie plant several years ago.
  7. Keep an eye on ebay. I have picked up several for various vehicles at fair prices.
  8. Take it easy Mike. Probably should stay away from skateboards and roller skates. Pretty rare MH! Click title to get into the previous talk.
  9. I took the picture in MA about 2000 and the Mack belongs to a fellow in CT. I don't know its current status because the owner has a lot of things going. He has a place in MT or SD and it may be out there now.
  10. Using your VIN, a good dealer can get you the numbers and an exploded view of what you are looking for. Without knowing which model suspension is in your truck, it is hard to say what you need. I don't have inverted info, many standard camel back suspension did use the T shaped spacer 13QK246 to resist lateral movement in the insulator boxes as you mention.
  11. Interesting to see two stacks instead of using a weedburner.
  12. Mike, with dreams like that, it is time to lay off the jalapeño hot sauce and the tequila.
  13. Mack quad cab. Sorry for the nasty pic taken at dusk.
  14. You can go to Mack or there are several pages of rods and bushings at Atro. http://www.atrobushing.com/oem/mack/
  15. Buy the shutoff valve and install it in the back of the water manifold. Gives you the option of turning off the hot water during the summertime.
  16. Sure are running some diverse equipment.
  17. Sad it has been let go and the back of the cab has become so crusty. Bud Light...? You on a diet?
  18. The Valueliner did have straight frame rails.
  19. Found the picture showing the hood emblem, outboard steering box and the hood/fender detail.
  20. I saw a quad cab a few years ago but I haven't been able to find the picture that I took.
  21. The Wiki isn't easy to find and some of the material doesn't seem to show up such as various model brochures, the R and U owners book and B engine and axle info. Could the Wiki be put into the toolbar as before? Thanks.
  22. The cab on both is based on the CA 49 but the mounts for the VL are a little different and the interior packages were pretty fancy. The hood is different because the rear lower section of the fenders were mounted to the frame of the truck on the VL. Mack built it as conventional with weight saving components.
  23. Wicked heavy! When I had to remove the starter from the 359, I was on the ground to catch and another fellow was on the top lowering the starter by using a strap. Find a helper and a strap for the job. I have a steering box in a nasty spot that has a leak. I am thinking about using special John Deere corn head grease instead of oil. The grease is designed for low speed gear boxes and it's weight grade is 0. It is soft and has some flow but should be thick enough not to leak. A cartridge is about $4.
