  1. Probably a Google search would get you some local names. You could also try this company. http://www.rebuildersenterprises.com/index.asp
  2. BCR emblems are almost like hen's teeth.
  3. Mack purchased Brockway in 1956. The frame supplier to each may have been the same vendor. For many years, rear frame cross members were the same part between the two trucks. I believe the frame "taper" was similar but I don't think it was a match.
  4. Was that one of the trucks sent in to clean up the crane accident from two days ago? It was a Bay Crane that went over.
  5. Horn but the 2 trumpets aren't mounted for some reason.
  6. Super clean and ready for the show.
  7. Same with the Hahn!
  8. Geeeesssh guys..... Now he is going to want one of them parking spots with his name stenciled on the concrete bumper.
  9. The B's had a frame bracket and rubber mounted cab bracket for a vertical exhaust system. Both factory brackets may be tricky to find theses days in decent condition. I never liked the cab mount system myself. Since you have a clean slate to start with, I would fabricate a vertical support and buy a stack you like the looks of.
  10. http://www.olddodges.com/index1.htm There is a contact page on his webpage and there is probably something on Facebook. I am not on Facebook so you are on your own with that. His son Kyle was also involved.
  11. If Schneider fires him.... Werner or Swift are hiring.
  12. The T2050 has a first gear ratio of 5.24 and .60 for fifth and a reverse gear of 5.38. The T2080 (8 spd) has a first gear of 20.08 and high gear of .60 with a single reverse gear of 5.38 The T2080B would be the same as the T2080 except it has three reverse gears at 17.62, 10.25 and 5.82.
  13. Have you tried Tony Youngblood the Bighorn guy?
  14. The thread went out of control and Barry made it go away. Thank you Barry. Farmer52 Ken, stop in when you get a chance.
  15. In all those hundreds of hours of input did any of those customers ask for a hood that was less ugly? A vocational truck needs to be built strong but it doesn't need to be a "butter-face".
  16. That is a busy road to be doing a brake job.
  17. About 3 fully dressed iron Ford FEs or 2,000 lbs.
  18. The factory listed the weight of a single axle B42 tractor at 8,200 lbs. I don't have a weight for axle #2, the tires or bed.
  19. From Watt's Mack. B Model http://www.wattstruckcenter.com/store/index.php?route=product/product&path=59_69&product_id=329 http://www.wattstruckcenter.com/store/index.php?route=product/product&path=59_69&product_id=156 Raney's R model http://www.raneystruckparts.com/mack-r-manual-window-regulator-48qs311-48qs310/ http://www.raneystruckparts.com/mack-r-model-manual-window-regulator-25113357-25114490/
  20. Lining up the clutch and the trans. main shaft seems to go easier when there is a little extra room out front.
  21. And people say a B cab is small..... Lots of craftsmanship in the build.
  22. You can either have Mack run your VIN to indicate what you will need to do the change or pull the Dayton hub to get the bearing numbers. Using the bearing numbers, a good parts store can determine which hubs you will need. Checking the bearing number is a good way to go if you think that someone has worked on the truck before and may have changed some components from stock configuration.
  23. The "Vacation" Family Truckster lives! Nice that you got the model with the Vista Cruiser station wagon windows in the roof.
