  1. Welcome Dave! We like pictures.
  2. It was White's own design. I believe Seagrave was getting their 12 cylinders engine from Pierce-Arrow.
  3. Full pull for you and the Cruiser!
  4. The pancake design was used in transit buses also.
  5. Driver: "I'm really stuck". Dispatch: "If you rock it back and forth, you should be able to get going".
  6. Could be a nice trailer for a single axle. Pet peeve.......If you are selling something, clean the vines and vegetation off BEFORE you take pictures.
  7. I took the picture of the LM August 2003 with its new owner and Dick Kemp passed away September of 2007. Same truck? I think it is. I don't remember him having two LM's. The auction was 2009 so I don't think the date of after his passing would be correct for the Hanks picture.
  8. 2,391 LM's were made from 1940-1956. I don't know how many were standard cabs, offset cabs or cabovers.
  9. Last I knew, it was undercover and is not restored.
  10. The frame was lengthened at a welding shop in Vermont. I don't recall if they used the cutoff frame that came with the rears or had a length of rail bent at PG Adams. Should be the same 9" X 3.25" X .25" between the two.
  11. The double dog can be done by changing the angle of the rear dogs heel to match the cap and then using a standard Mack radiator cap of the era. I used some soft washers not to mess up the chrome cap and just gently snugged the dog's fasteners down. Not aware of this being factory so the boys in the shop were probably just having some fun.
  12. The LM was sold by Dick Kemp several years prior to the auction.
  13. A 1945 LM with offset cab and factory through the hood exhaust pipe.
  14. I believe the B61T and the modern curtain side toy hauler trailer went to Tackaberry several years ago.
  15. That does look like their logo on the door.
  16. Choquette is from Tim M's neighborhood where the next stop is Canada.
  17. Yes, it started as a single axle.
  18. More info than you would ever want. http://www.phtruck.com/download/chelsea/applicationcatalogs/hy25-3000_us_mack.pdf
  19. Fred Beauchamps now belongs to George Tackaberry. 1956 H-63
  20. The Roadway tractor belonged to Harry Muhlschlegel who owned Jevic and then New Century.
  21. On display at Macungie a few years ago.
  22. The "S" is for six wheel chassis which means it is tandem. The serial number is stamped on the pass side frame rail behind the front tire. How long has the motor been apart?
  23. You know the deal....pictures or it didn't happen.
