  1. Dated 1992
  2. Inner and outer shaft that can expand or collapse.
  3. What type of work are you doing with 80% pto time?
  4. Maybe on the road with their RW753.
  5. Relist. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Cars-Trucks-Test-Category-Mack-Fire-Truck-/301840367907?forcerrptr=true&hash=item4647168123:g:i3oAAOSwwPhWixJF&item=301840367907
  6. It is not a flux capacitor....
  7. Grandpa's looks to be an Mack EB. There was also an EC model. I think this is an EB model because it appears to be a fairly heavy unit. EB built between 1936-41 with 134 units built. EC built the same years with 123 made. Boss Man's is a D model Mack. Probably a 20 or 30 built between 1955-1958.
  8. Not in CA but Bandag in OH might be able to help. http://cantonbandag.com/antique-tires/overman-cushion-antique-tires/
  9. I am interested to hear what you have to say about quality. Pretty confident that they are from overseas but I was thinking about buying some bullets.
  10. Mack had available inverted camel back suspension and it will do ok for your hobby trucks and tractors. No front brakes shouldn't be a deal breaker if the rest of the truck checks out. Quite a few older trucks at shows with no front brakes. Back in the day, single axles trucks had to have brakes front and rear. Front brakes on a tandem were optional.
  11. I just found the ad from 1994 where Tom Spencer was selling a few trucks. I guess Gary Mahan got his his FC tanker from Tom and the FC dump was for sale at the same time.
  12. Didn't Tom Spencer have an FC dump? Do you know if it is the one that Nuss has now?
  13. George Tackaberry has an enormous collection of trucks based in Athens, ON. CA. I have been able to visit three times and the toy box is never ending! A link to his business. http://www.tackaberryconstruction.com/
  14. Yes, I took the picture of the FW a couple days in advance of the auction.
  15. Looks like a replacement engine was put into your truck. I believe 1988 is the last year of production for the 2 valve to be put in trucks on the assembly line. Brand new 2V engines or ReMack 2V engines would have been available through the parts system for several more years and the actual build date of the engine would be stamped on the tag.
  16. I am sure they used what ever they had on hand to do the job. Could be an IH chassis with Mack sheet metal? The chassis has a good sized fish plate added.
  17. May help. http://www.bigmacktrucks.com/index.php?/topic/29874-woodward-governors-on-b-model-macks/?hl=woodward http://www.bigmacktrucks.com/index.php?/topic/29462-673-mack-injector-pump-timing/?hl=woodward#entry157927
  18. No info but would love to have it. The fuel tank looks a little different. Butane powered maybe?
  19. Congrats! Link https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dkojHq2QnyI
  20. No, I don't have a pre restoration picture of the FT. Best I have is an "as is" picture of a 1948 FW which also used the L cab with half doors.
  21. To meet customer demand, the F series was updated by Mack with L model cabs featuring half doors. The FT was the replacement for the FN. The FT was produced between 1941-1950 with 241 units produced.
  22. Gary Mahan got the 1916 AB that became his police paddy wagon (not pictured), the 1934 CH and the 1935 BM sleeper that is now painted as a Serafin truck. I remember seeing the blue H67 but I can't think of where and who has it now.
