  1. Still sounds a bit exciting! We caught the edge of Hurricane Isaias last week and the electrical grid took a pretty good hit.
  2. You guys OK? Superdog Mike, Terry, others?
  3. Flex hoses can be matched up at a parts store. Wheel cylinders and shoes can be rebuilt and have new linings done. I have had luck matching things up at NAPA and my local store has a machine shop that does the relining. Boosters (if equipped) can be rebuilt. Can do a search on the web for a rebuilder. Wheel cylinders can also be redone with a stainless steel bore from White Post Restoration. I would send the left side cylinders and the right side cylinders in different packages just in case the post office, UPS or FedEx decides to loose a box if you go that route. https://whitepost.com/brake-sleeving-rebuilding-services/
  4. Last I heard it wasn't flat out cancelled but it seemed to be a little up in the air. Wait 5 minutes and something will change!
  5. I have never heard anyone mention ownership. Wouldn't be at all surprised that a movie property rental company supplied it to the show.
  6. That stinks! Makes for a very crappy day.
  7. Probably owe someone a transmission if I tried floating gears lefty! Sometimes you can't keep them all but I think that would stay around with me and not get sold. Business is business.
  8. Looks like a good reason to go to Michigan!
  9. Yesterday morning saw a skipper being chased by a coyote in a freshly cut hay field. The circle of life never sleeps.
  10. Found it enjoyable. Hope you all do as well.
  11. Nice! Interesting to see the Brown Equipment mud flaps on the back.
  12. Time to get the chainsaw fired up and get the dump truck out of there! Years ago I tried to get a B61 from Logger Lou in Boonville. Didn't work out and don't know who has it now.
  13. A small fish plate can be put over the cracked area after the crack is repaired. I would take the truck to a shop that specializing in this kind of work. A shop with good knowledge of the proper repair procedure will be money well spent.
  14. Anything can happen if you can find the right person! Customer service, many times, lacks in "service".
  15. What masks.....?
  16. Looks like you did OK! Brand?
  17. Yup, blue badge. To be honest, I just didn't even read the emblem but a 1987 truck might have "Volvo White Truck Corporation". Sort of think "Volvo GMC Truck Corporation" started in 1988?
  18. "A" is the truck model. 20 is the rating of the truck. An A-40 looks basically the same but it would have heavier springs and components than the A-20 as an example.
  19. Bob, you must not have got the memo.... Every garage is TOO small!
  20. The chassis itself is about 6,000 lbs. No idea on the wheelbase of the truck in picture. Pricing is difficult to do over the phone but if it is in decent shape, runs and drives and STOPS I will say 4K because I am not feeling generous tonight. If there is no rust through, price would be more.
  21. Mack 316GC1184. Haldex had a listing for them RW2001 and RW2001X for a reman. Listing also included RW2006X if a fan clutch is being used.
