  1. I have never found anything better than the 512 ratio that will fit. I would like to find a 410 ratio if it was out there. Gear Vendors overdrive or customize the axle would be options. What condition is the Continental engine in? Trans? Do you have plans for them?
  2. Right about now my cousin would say "It's only money". Have a good trip. Keep us posted.
  3. "88" is a 350 engine. 426 units produced.
  4. No, it was started in Minnesota as a dairy co-op.
  5. Nice! If there is no tag, the timing gear housing will be stamped on the top in front of the injection pump with the engine number.

  7. Yeah...., that...... will........ fit.......
  8. What Jeep......?
  9. http://www.macktruckshistoricalmuseum.org/ Link to the museum.
  10. Looks like a regular KD 517. Should be able to find some on fleabay in amber. Save the red ones, a fire guy will probably want them.
  11. I can't watch the Vegas rat show. Don't like what they have butchered and the cast of characters is the worst.

  13. Not everything is my cup of tea. My motto is your money and your truck, do what you want.
  14. Use their gun and no mixing. Other than mixing the actual product. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gWEtrHOsV1s Novice....? Don't let Red hear about that.
  15. Dynomat and other brands do a great job. If a project is getting completely torn down, there is a product called Lizard Skin which is a spray product. One type is for noise and the other is for heat. It is such that you can spray a coat of the "heat" style and then a coat of the "sound" over it. http://www.lizardskin.com/
  16. There are two New England based parts store chains that I use. Both keep parts books stashed under the counter and still have counter people that know how to read them. Also have good luck buying a lot of parts that are not race related from Summit Racing Equipment.
  17. http://combscustommfg.com/mack_truck_body_parts Combs has fenders. Tire shop should be able to the rims.
  18. Hmmmm.....lots of filters..... Are the 55 gallon drums of oil still outside?

  20. The government will certainly be looking for its share of the bonus money from those employees.
  21. Not real familiar. Brimont was a French military chassis builder so if it has a Mack/Renault engine, parts can be tricky to get. Getting a new Cummins 8.3 sounds great but I couldn't help with what issues you will have putting one in your truck. Is the Mack damaged or blown up or what? Even with parts issues, it may be more cost effective to fix what you have instead of reinventing the wheel.
  22. This will fit no problem. V12's are known to be a loud very smooth engine...
  23. Wishing that some T-89 transmission parts circa 1941 find their way to my house. And a winning Mega Bucks ticket!
