  1. Hopefully the vet bill for the cat and dog aren't too bad.
  2. Was a different cut off. cstaples has all the moves listed. Richard Kurzontkowski, the owner of the AC, had a nice story about the truck in the Double Clutch magazine several years ago.
  3. Yes, B53 is the standard hood as used on the 30,42,61 as well as others. Here is B cab info. http://www.bigmacktrucks.com/index.php?/tutorials/article/11-b-model-cab-data/
  4. Yes, the hood on both the 57 and the 67 models is the short one. The B-57 was built from 1964-1966 with production of 281 units.
  5. I get it. Shifting lefty may take some time...
  6. OK. I looked at the truck when it was for sale in CT. Good deal if Momma likes it also!
  7. You are right on the trucks. No rip-rap for the AC though!
  8. Had been a mixer and is now a tractor.
  9. Not aware of anyone putting Superliner clothes on a CH chassis. The amount of time and money is going to be HUGE!
  10. LOTS of gears and low ratio rears!
  11. Mack NA 673 (672 CID) diesel @180 HP in a B model doesn't sound too impressive these days either.
  12. Looks like a Mack 510 CID, 158 HP @2400 rpm, 400 lb ft of torque @ 1000 rpm. We are going to need pictures of the whole truck sometime. Did you buy the white one out of Maine?
  13. STOP! Buy new tanks even if they don't match!
  14. That can't be you..... You are not wearing boots.
  15. Sorry, my brain was on carbs not fuel pumps.
  16. MIG with a bottle can do some excellent welds. If you think you are going to be doing a lot of welding outside, I find a flux core wire with no bottle works for me. Just a small breeze seems to mess up the shielding gas. Flux core makes a little mess that takes a couple more minutes to clean up.
  17. In the earlier post you indicated that the fuel had been bumped up. The increase in EGT can be showing an imbalance between the fuel and air. There can be other causes to the higher reading on the pyro such as a restrictive exhaust system, a restriction or blockage in the cooler limiting air, dirty air filter, high engine water temperature or engine timing being slightly off.
  18. If you are able to determine what carb brand is on the engine and any identifying numbers, give a call to Daytona Parts. http://www.daytonaparts.com/ I think that model used a Stromberg or Zenith.
  19. How does it do with a double bottom plow?
  20. This B57 is reputed to be the last one. http://www.bigmacktrucks.com/index.php?/topic/35547-a-very-solemn-day-april-281966/
  21. Not sure of its status. I was just passing through.
  22. With trailer.
