  1. Thought No. 1 That's a BIG pour! No. 2 Surprised with all that water it isn't more muddy. Must have an excellent subbase and base.
  2. Another forum thread goes right into the crapper......
  3. It is irregular knuckleheads. Nothing "regular" about us!
  4. A concave cab needs ALL the comfy it can get!
  5. Use it as an engine crane. Motor swaps made easy!
  6. Uuggh, free is always in my budget!
  7. Check out the Historical Construction Equipment Association. http://www.hcea.net/ It may be a source of info on machines listed in their forum section.
  8. 1986 EM 275 had a boost range of 11-19 psi so not much to gain there. They did have slightly different injectors. More fuel and boost more HP.
  9. The B53 was introduced in 1962 and was promoted as a weight saving concrete mixer chassis. 2625 units were built.
  10. Looks good! Different not to see spokes if it is an east coast picture.
  11. Nothing outdated here. The boost specs are on the lower side compared to others. Best truck is one that is paid off!
  12. Between 8-16 psi.
  13. Actually, two 1964 B81's.
  14. Excellent! One hell of a beer wagon. Interesting to see a horse in the left of the picture. Probably pulling a cart for a rag picker or a produce peddler.
  15. Loosing folks with lots of stories and history is sad. A friend took his camera and went visiting all his relatives and got some interesting family stories recorded on a disc. Not a bad idea as a way to keep the stories/history going.
  16. Fleets used to run tachographs in their trucks and drivers sometimes beat on them to mess up the paper recording disc. I see an increase in the sale of small rubber baseball bats.
  17. V8 to push it down the road. http://www.copart.com/us/Lot/38392345
  18. Yup, would love a bigger bank account and more storage to expand the fleet.
  19. We have the discussion here about "missing" trucks every so often. I think many try to keep track of certain vehicles. On a side note, Matt Pfahl was going to put an LTL together for a customer with a 425 CAT. Do you happen to know if this happened or if went into project limbo?
  20. Welcome! 6-4 is a frequency issue with J1939 link. Others will have to explain what it is.
  21. All the LTL's in the picture were built by Mack as LTL's. In the last 60 years, some parts and pieces have been changed. The 1951 red LTL still is Massachusetts. When this picture was taken, it was powered by a Hall Scott gasoline motor. The owner of the red LTL purchased Jack Frost's brown LTL from CO which was powered by an Iron Lung Cummins diesel. An inquiry from a person overseas led to the Jack Frost LTL being fitted with the Hall Scott engine and sold and shipped off. The 1951 red LTL then had the Iron Lung Cummins installed. It now has the type of engine and drive train very close to how it was built by Mack on day one.
  22. Sorry about the GM. Good luck for your business enterprise.
  23. R is narrower. Pretty much just the doors interchange. Tell "someone" to stop smoking those funny little things.
  24. Nice paint and just a little bling.
