B813 (turbo) were built between 1956-1966 with a total of 969 units. I think it is earlier than 1964. -

A few more years of production would have been nice. I suppose Mack wanted to have production based on their flagship B model. At least they added the B with L series cab to satisfy customer demand.

Take a look at Watt's Online Store. They have some trim pieces and some interior pieces as well. Keep an eye on ebay also because B items are put for sale there ever so often and the classified section of the forum. Probably the tough one to get will be the "B-47" emblems.

A B42T factory brochure list the standard weight at 8,200 lbs. You are in the ballpark. Probably subtract about 500 lbs for the cab and tank.

Pretty clean looking MB! NJ/NY used to be the MB capital of the world.

I can't find them now (of course) but the colored mud flaps were showing up on a regular basis on flea bay. Think there were red, blue and green available. I'll let you know if they show up again.
