  1. It would be a great candidate for an over size pickup body so you can run errands around town. Could give your Dodge diesel a rest.
  2. Leaving here in a few minutes to preview the coming attractions in Blackstone! Hopefully will get a couple of pictures.
  3. Looks like you did a fine job!
  4. Would have been a Cummins 335.
  5. Father's Day weekend.
  6. Nice to keep the combo together!
  7. Probably is a B72 with the hard nose. B70 had a soft nose. B72 had a soft nose early on and then had a hard nose. Time to check the number on the frame or Dave I. could let us know.
  8. Depending on which model L you have, it could be 28.4 or 24.4 to 1 ratio which is good for a fully loaded truck with no power steering. Have seen some get very creative and do radical surgery and put in a R model power steering or other types of power steering into older Macks. Every situation is different so it is hard to say what your best option might be. Some R models without power steering are 32.5 to 1 ratio.
  9. Only thing missing is Paul Bunyan and a blue ox!
  10. Some R models had 9" X 3.25 " X .25" rails such as a R611ST. 10.625" X 3.25" X .3125" was used in RD685SX. 10.5" X 3.25" X .50" was used in RL600LS utilizing aluminum frame rails.
  11. A couple of other models will fit but trying to find any that is good would be rare. I have had good luck making cardboard templates and having new ones made up at a glass shop. It would be nice for your project to have new safety glass with no scratches, no delaminations or fogging.
  12. Nice pics, nice trailers, super nice parts department. Damn rocks.
  13. It is a FASS diesel system.
  14. DM logger that is super clean under the hood.
  15. That picture was stolen from an episode of COPS. The tune playing in the background, "Bad Boys, Bad boys,......."
  16. It is right here. http://www.bigmacktrucks.com/index.php?/topic/25325-connecticut-construction-trucks/?hl=connecticut I added a picture a while ago. Just need others to get their Kodaks out and take some pics.
  17. A 1935 Mack BM, 1954 Mack LTL and logtruckman's Mack Titan.
  18. A friend of mine has a favorite saying "Cubic dollars will make things happen". Harnden was from Tonawanda, the black C from MA, Parker's trucks from Avon, the Frowiss AC, the red Jr. from UT, I believe, and the list goes on.
  19. It does need to be accessorized for winter.
  20. Mack RM
  21. Looks Good!
  22. Thanks for the great pictures! I now know where several "missing" Mack trucks went to.
