  1. Most tire manufacturers prefer to have their tube type 24 inchers stay around 55-60 mph so don't make your B's too speedy.
  2. You might check with these folks for the gaskets. http://www.olsonsgaskets.com/
  3. Over the years some of Wastler's restored trucks have been at various shows. The service truck looks to good to scrap so I don't know why it is in that yard? http://www.bigmacktrucks.com/index.php?/topic/9406-question-for-barry/?hl=wastler#entry35336
  4. Sounds like the KD 517. Check ebay because every so often the glass lenses will show up. The later 517s have plastic lenses.
  5. Yeah, a bit of a stretch compared to some production figures. Wouldn't mind having one.
  6. A couple of R model fire trucks.
  7. Have you put a pressure gauge on the fuel line to see what you have? There could be junk in the fuel after sitting so changing filters would be a place to start. Could be plugged up.
  8. A couple of B's that I had used KD 517 lights for the 5 lights across the roof. See them fairly often on ebay.
  9. Better ratios for that would be 5.02, 5.32, 5.73, 6.34 or 7.00 to replace the 7.49.
  10. 1956 Powell Sport Truck. Interesting little truck.
  11. Good Story! Nice to keep them together.
  12. Some flat hood lace available here. http://stores.restorationspecialties.com/flat-hood-lace/
  13. It is a knock off bulldog. Not original Mack.
  14. Oshkosh ready for the winter of 2015/16.
  15. That was easy.
  16. Kemp 65 is living large in a collection in New England.
  17. Looks Good!
  18. That does seem to be a good price.
  19. It was explained to me one time that their were L fire truck fenders and L commercial truck fenders. The fire truck style had more of a flat skirt around the tire. I don't know if this was at a certain time period or during the whole production run? It may have been a case where the fire department could order either style depending on what they wanted? The truck pictured seems to have more of a peak down the center so maybe this is a very early style? It sure does look good.
  20. The Ahrens Fox coupe is wild!
  21. Nice, making a newer version of the 68 lightweight Dart.
