  1. Looks like a plan for a hauler!
  2. Looks way better than it did!
  3. Ha! Thanks! Must be having a brain fart...... again.
  4. That looks like a nice, clean cab but would have to rework the cowl for the Superliner hood. No problem with a sawzall. Graft the two together.
  5. Follow the line that goes from the front of the oil cooler. It appears that it goes horizontal toward the back of the truck underneath the Baldwin fuel filter and then goes down toward the frame. The truck will have a filter unless someone really did a FUBAR. It will probably be frame mounted behind the cab.
  6. Follow the oil lines from the oil cooler and see where they go. Haven't worked on a F model so I can't say for sure.
  7. 300 is a Maxidyne with a low torque rise engine featuring 5 or 6 speed transmissions. 300+ is a Thermodyne with a more narrow working rpm range utilizing a 10 speed transmission for example. The ad says it is a 686 which is a 300 Maxidyne so the 6 speed matches up.
  8. Ha! That is going to have better reliability than the 2007 Rawhide.
  9. With the overdive trans and depending on what you are doing with the truck, something in the 5's would be better for you and get you into the 50-60 range. A CRD78 in a B61LT had optional ratios of 4.28, 4.60, 5.30, 5.74 and 6.26.
  10. KooL!
  11. Happy Birthday!
  12. With that set up, open the hood and try to find the engine! Would also need some gears to do much. Would be interesting to know the history and why the 413 was specified instead of the stock 707.
  13. I believe it is.
  14. Ha! Last time I got it in writing. That will show her. Now, where did I leave the piece of paper....?
  15. Now on fleabay. http://www.ebay.com/itm/1951-Mack-Fire-Truck-Apparatus-Closed-cab-45A-20-338-Original-Miles-/262047456602?forcerrptr=true&hash=item3d033edd5a&item=262047456602
  16. Her attitude will change when your junk inventory fixes her car.
  17. One old truck leads to another....leads to another....leads to another....
  18. Here is a link to a 1983 wiring diagram. Even though it is for an R model the vast majority of electrical components are the same or similar to an F model. It is for a negative ground vehicle. http://www.bigmacktrucks.com/index.php?/tutorials/article/55-r-model-wiring-diagram/
  19. Yup, 800 HP and sexy round headlights.
  20. Nice! My father made some money with a couple old crackerbox GMCs.
  21. Looks like it and a heavy spec chassis for sure. http://www.bigmacktrucks.com/index.php?/topic/38163-b-61se/?hl=61+se
  22. Tidy headache rack.
  23. WoW! Surprised it didn't become a toaster years ago.
  24. It seems like 'Bumma is on Air Force One everyday. I guess that doesn't count toward global warming. Oh, everywhere Air Force One goes so goes Air Force One B just in case they need a spare. Global warming occurs when politicians speak.
