  1. If you can't find decent used, keep your eyes on trailer dealers sales flyers or monthly specials. A friend got a smokin' deal on a set of legs that way.
  2. Happy Birthday! Hatcity should have sent the hot dog girl instead....
  3. Studebaker. Some of those were made into Whatoff Toters (sp). Can't tell about the one pictured.
  4. Excellent! That sign is a score. Saw a wrecker like that many years ago in Jersey. Pretty Wild! See that you also have a Ford Denimachine van.
  5. Would have been nice to know about the auction.
  6. Radials started in the mid 1960's so there was a fair bit of overlap between the two styles.
  7. You may want to contact Heartthrob Exhaust. They may be able help with some custom work. A forum member was able to get mandrel bent exhaust parts made for his twin turbo 864 V8 R719. http://www.heartthrobexhaust.com/ Also could try checking with Grand Rock. http://www.grpipes.com/
  8. Huh..... Why didn't they buy the BIG ones?
  9. Happy Birthday!
  10. Thank you for sharing the parts information.
  11. Here is the link to what Ken found in Overdrive. http://www.bigmacktrucks.com/index.php?/topic/40993-evil-knievel-mack-f-update/?hl=evel Some previous discussion. http://www.bigmacktrucks.com/index.php?/topic/23366-evel-kinevels-mack-1st-start-up/?hl=evel%20knievel http://www.bigmacktrucks.com/index.php?/topic/27845-evel-knievel-resto/?hl=evel+knievel
  12. Don't add any lube! If compressor blow by gets too bad, you should rebuild or buy a new compressor. Oil will make a mess of most air dryers if so equipped. Compressed air makes condensation when the air cools. Add water with oil and you have sludge. Sludge kills brake systems. The best maintenance is to drain your air tanks at the end of the day. That will get rid of water, compressor oil, crap, etc.
  13. I can't tell what the cabover closest to the gate is. It would be one hell of a trifecta if it was a G model Mack! Then you could have G, H and F.
  14. The world will always have a supply of pop tarts and Pop Tarts.
  15. Manuals show up on fleabay every so often. Give it a good once over and see if it will crank. Check for oil pres and strange noises. Probably was maintained if it was his pride and joy.
  16. Dangerous Now......? More like dangerous still! Congrats!
  17. It was an auction therefore two people with lots of money wanted it really badly.
  18. This a C model so the dimensions may be different but you can get the idea. The large hole on the right is where the brake line bulkhead fitting goes through the right side frame rail above the front axle.
  19. Nice! Looks like that is 1404 with some metal removed.
  20. Keep the people stoned with pot legal in some states (or other free stuff) and they won't raise a fuss about what politicians are doing......
  21. I enjoyed a visit to Gary Mahan's collection several years ago with a club chapter that I am a member. A lot of great vehicles to check out to say the least! Near the end of our tour, Gary and several club members and myself all sat on a transport trailer to discuss how he found many of the trucks in his collection and some of the history of the units.
  22. There isn't one list that will do all that but check out the BMT Wiki because there is a ton of info located there. Click Wiki in the BMT toolbar and you can scroll through for transmission info, general info and then a good amount of specific model info for C615, B61, etc.
