  1. The whole fender is indeed shorter and I "believe" the radius of the wheel opening is slightly less. A friend had a B-65 with the little larger fender than the B-67 running 24.5s and it sure looked like the tire would hit the lower rear part of the fender opening but it never did. It was really close!
  2. Remain calm everybody! Hopefully the weather forecasters will have their usual level of accuracy. And don't kill the messenger.
  3. 220 is telling you the right deal. 24.5" tubeless one piece wheel is on a 22" spoke so you need to buy new 24" spokes for running 24" tube type multi piece rims, tubes, flaps, etc.
  4. Maybe Isuzu will bring back the Chevy LUV pickup!
  5. Here is the link. http://www.ebay.com/itm/MACK-1989-R-MODEL-WITH-2014-CORAS-1-4-FRAME-DUMP-TRAILER-/171826361738?forcerrptr=true&hash=item2801a6358a&item=171826361738 I was hoping he had two rigs for sale. Buy now and save!
  6. I can get some pictures. It might be a couple of weeks (month) because I am not where the truck is at the moment.
  7. It really wasn't too bad. The trans to frame mounts fell in different spots so 8 new holes were needed. Spacing differences between the B61 and B75 may make your situation better or worse with regards to the clutch. The original clutch cross shaft on the B75 had to be replaced with a pair of side mount industrial pillow blocks. Then an adapter was made to convert to a R clutch cable to the bell housing.
  8. Have a X107A air 6 spd. in the B-75 and it took a couple new holes and some jiggering.
  9. Here is a picture and post showing the dual hose air filter on a R model. http://www.bigmacktrucks.com/index.php?/topic/38560-air-cleaner-hoses-for-r-and-dm-models/?hl=air+cleaner
  10. Nice stripe! Bumper looks good in silver.
  11. R-600s had the tip turbines as well.
  12. Excellent R dump truck!
  13. Hey! You aren't fooling us! That isn't a 1989 R model dump. That is a 1989 model with C's and a nice dumper. The green truck looks OK too.
  14. Interesting.... You and OD both got to see a rainbow this past week. Same thing but different.
  15. Nice straps! Maybe they will send a check for advertising?
  16. Cereal? I thought the trailer was for rolls and poles!
  17. WoW! That was the day to buy a lottery ticket!
  18. His picture link shows a 1964 B model.
  19. The black ones Superdog has a posted picture of would look great on that B model and are easily available through Watt's Mack. Post some in progress or done pics of your B if you can.
  20. Nope, not saying that at all. Most trucks out west had long wheelbase as shown in the picture. Being on the east coast, I have just seen a lot more single axle B tractors or short tandems. Back in the day, the length/weight laws were quite different between the east and west coast. 245" wheelbase was available from the factory. On a custom basis, longer may have come from the factory? Certainly some folks made oil field gin pole trucks with even longer wheelbase in private shops.
  21. Looks good from my house. No one will know unless you tell them. You told us but we will keep it a secret. For a fee........
  22. KooL photo! When men were men and you need a lifetime supply of toothpicks.
