  1. These seats look good with the embossed dog on the back panel and fit the cab well. Maybe the same truck as Balston Spa? http://www.truckpaper.com/listingsdetail/detail.aspx?OHID=5891289
  2. The White 3000 looks pretty clean. Did you bring the NM weather back to OH?
  3. Excellent! Sure is a beast.
  4. Do you still have your heavy B wrecker?
  5. That should be correct. The 61 used the CA 21 cab and the 72, 73, 75,and 77 used the CA 30 cab.
  6. He always had a way with words.
  7. Post #4 has torque specs. just pick the size you are dealing with. Going to have to get out the BIG wrench. http://www.bigmacktrucks.com/index.php?/topic/39189-rd-688-front-suspention/ Best way is to do all at once. Depending on the situation, you can do one leaf at a time but you will be doing it again at some point.
  8. We need Buford T Justice! "I'm in high speed pursuit of a maniac!" "Don't you hear good boy?"
  9. It will work great out in the orchard hauling a couple of bushels.
  10. The Riker I remember looked like a "cherry bomb" for trucks and it was sort of loud too.
  11. FWD, This would be a great story to send into for the Double Clutch magazine. It is certainly an interesting look at some important trucking history.
  12. That probably would be wise!
  13. Good idea! Or a one free hot dog after a 300 gal fill up....?
  14. Nice find!
  15. Do smores and beer go together? Nice pusher on the Hyster.
  16. Excellent story!
  17. Score on the wrecker!
  18. Call the people and ask them to give you the number off the door tag or title. An R685 will be a 237. A 237 5 speed is a super dependable package. Obviously this doesn't guaranty that someone hasn't changed the motor or poorly maintained it.
  19. That picture is a nice piece of history for you!
  20. A pair on the right, a pair in the middle and a pair on the left. Yup, that's a six pack!
  21. You saw some good stuff this week, Sad to see the Superliner all messed up. Might be time to put a winch on the trailer so you can self load more Peterbilts......
