    Been thinking.... the 6V53 has about the same operating rpm as that big old Wauky so you wouldn't have to swap the gears in the diffs.

    300 is a Maxidyne. 300 Plus is a Thermodyne with engine number ETAZ673A at 315-320 HP. 350 Thermodyne ETAZ677 350 HP.

    FW, are you able to say where it went to? Business is business, but I don't really follow the sale of this truck. The truck features classic looks, bullet proof on/off road suspension and pre BS engine management.

    Nice JD! That is a weird break but have no explanation for it.

    Style of transmission wouldn't matter. Look for a ratio such as 3.71, 4.00, or 4.25 for better highway speed for a diesel application with a direct high gear trans. Lower rear gears can work if using an overdrive trans.

    What a pain in the neck! Sounds like that "driver" needs a swift kick. Might wake up his brain... Was that your bearing or the driver from last week that had to have the load swapped by the wrecker?
