  1. Here is a little bit of info. http://forums.aths.org/PrintTopic32790.aspx
  2. Sometimes they are just a bitch. There is no magic bullet. Worked on one over the course of a weekend until it finally popped. Three hours of actual work time with cussing, soaking, tapping and swearing in between.
  3. What do you mean? Just get the yacht out of dry dock at the marina...
  4. Give your truck's VIN to the dealer and they should be able to get the info you are looking for.
  5. On the IH lowrider, my guess is they mounted the sheet metal on a motorhome chassis that uses A arm front suspension instead of a straight axle. It would be a trick to get a straight axle that low.
  6. Both of my filters are bolted to either side of the tip turbine cooler. This a higher position than stock. Hasn't had a problem getting fuel under load that I am aware of and any other issue. You can see the top of the filter bases in the picture. It seemed like a good spot while putting a 285 in a B model.
  7. Between the ever increasing buyers premiums and "bidders" helping drive sales, good deals can be few and far between at auctions. I have been to some sales that were absolute except for a couple of items and specific information was announced prior to sale. If no such information was disseminated, that reflects very badly on the auction house that ran the sale and held the item back. Wishful thinking that the auction house will do the right thing and take the high bid now but they should. Sure the Two Story Corbitt is a rare piece. But, how many people can store it properly due to size or properly maintain the, I believe, Gardiner diesel engine? The auction house advertised the sale, promoted the trucks and those interested in the trucks showed up. If someone was interested in the Corbitt, they didn't stay home! Therefore, the price bid is what the vehicle is worth on that day. Very rarely do second chance offers yield more money.
  8. With the water temp climbing quickly, timing may be off. Any signs of water in the oil? Seeping head gasket leak.
  9. Pretty nice to have a beefy B53 and an E75!
  10. Well, it is Saturday night. Don't forget to do behind your ears..., I mean behind your gears.
  11. Well, you did promise to clean the front yard...
  12. Is that the one around Bristol?
  13. Max found a cutie!
  14. Great Pair! Craigslist finds? Hopefully not too many nights on the sofa for you.
  15. Nice to see your RW out on the road.
  16. Wasn't it to fix pot holes?
  17. Cubed out the trailer on a load of Styrofoam packing peanuts?
  18. Holy Shit! Betcha didn't even get flowers and a box of candy the next day.
  19. Usually to help hook up a low trailer like a loaded RGN.
  20. Similar work to some of the customized Macks in Europe.
  21. 11:34 AM and 37 degrees. That is a little brisk for TX. Oh, that's right, Randy lives in the country. Last time I was in Houston, it was a billion degrees and about a billion degrees humid.
  22. Hmmm.....don't want your copy. I better keep looking for mine.
  23. That can't be the exit for Randy P, I don't see any buzzards.
  24. Looks Good! 18,000, that's plenty beefy.
