  2. Good call Matt. Here are a couple of posts about R roof panels. http://www.bigmacktrucks.com/index.php?/topic/29782-replacing-rear-cab-panel-on-superliner/ http://www.bigmacktrucks.com/index.php?/topic/21197-getting-a-little-more-done/?hl=%2Broof+%2Bpanel#entry92672 http://www.bigmacktrucks.com/index.php?/topic/18762-all-this-opening-and-no-sardines/?hl=%2Broof+%2Bpanel http://www.bigmacktrucks.com/index.php?/topic/7823-r-model-rain-gutter/?hl=%2Broof+%2Bpanel#entry28484
  3. Pretty nice to have a boneyard that gets mowed on a regular basis. Haven't been to the show in about 10 years. My fall schedule really sucks.
  4. Nice job on the parts allocation of the MH. Reuse is better than recycling.
  5. Hey, there not tipping cows...... YET!
  6. Looks good! After all that plumbing work, your supply of widgets and gizmos must be depleted.
  7. Approx. 5.70 to 5.90 with .74 OD Forrmula (rpm X tire size) divided (mph X 336) = ratio
  8. Hope your truck doesn't lean too badly.
  9. Married.......how come you weren't wearing your helmet?
  10. Number 1. His secret is safe with us. Prediction on outcome.......she won't care. She will think it is cute. Number 2. If he gets bored with the 350R, let me know provided it is a legit 1965. It would make a great birthday present!
  11. Gotta luv it....
  12. Looks like you gave them a good day of sight seeing.
  13. Excellent job OD! I now know where a couple of "missing" trucks are hiding. I need to coordinate a couple of days off in the Old Dominion.
  14. I can't recall specific names but a couple of the stainless Autocars are out there in the hands of collectors. There was one on display at Macungie several years ago.
  15. Ahhh.......maybe you should say you were drinking.....
  16. Ha! The Smart has less wheelbase than a AA/FA.
  17. A modern Cammer Thunderbolt. Nice!
  18. Congratulations!!! I guess you had the competition seeing red. A win is a win however it comes!
  19. The lightweight RT-8908LL is direct but the RTO-11908LL, 14908LL and the 16908LL have a .74 overdrive.
  20. Here is the calculation 1700 rpm 44" tire 4.42 gear ratio (1/1 direct transmission) 336 is the mathematical constant taking into account pi, distance and time so you can figure miles per hour. (1700 X 44) divided by (4.42 X 336) = 74,800/1485.12 which is 50.3663 mph.
  21. 70 mph is correct with an 8LL with a .74 overdrive. Actually 68 mph, but close enough. (1700 rpm X 44") divided by (3.2708 X 336) 4.42 with a .74 OD gives an effective final ratio of 3.27 The calculation of 58-59 mph for the other truck is correct.
  22. Hmmmm......there is truck for a certain north central WA apple orchard.
  23. That doesn't look like a RGN. What are you doing with a flatbed? Something new?
