    Use plenty of lube on the joints. Arthritis in that first joint will not be too much fun.

    Looks like a B-61. On the right side pass. frame rail on the frame side will be the serial number for the truck. It will be to the left of the bulkhead fitting for the the front brake air line.

    Thanks Paul, I was trying to read the article and couldn't with or without my glasses. I went through some of my literature and came up with a Bendix Westinghouse 25 HP air starter to get it spinning!

    The Maxitorque 5 speed came out with the introduction of the ENDT675 Maxidyne in 1966. By 1970, other Maxitorque trans combinations were available depending on type of use. Needed a stout transmission for 325 HP Maxidyne V8.

    The truck system pres is 125-130 psi. Neway wants their bags to run at 100 psi so a regulator should be in the supply line. There are quick acting leveling valves and "slow" valves. Maybe support the frame of the truck and disconnect the rod between the leveling valve and the axle and operate the valve and see what the valve exhaust note sounds like? Might eliminate one of the variables.

    There is a stamped number in the cast portion of the timing chain cover in front of the injection pump. Examples, ENDT676 or ETAZ673A or ENDT673.
