In SAE grade GO-H you can use 90, 80W-90, 80W-140, 85W-140, 140. In SAE grade GO-H/S....................75W-90, 75W140, 80W140. All can be used above and below temps of 32 degrees. You should be good to go.

1. The gauge may be broken. Could run some leads to a know electrical source and see what happens. 2. Alt. is dying and your are running off of battery reserve. Take a multi meter and see what the output is off the alt. 3. Check health of batteries and for loose connections/corrosion while you are messing with everything.

A 300 Plus/315 HP would have ETA673A stamped into the timing chain cast housing just forward of the fuel pump. Using the block number would help in narrowing down what engine you have. A Maxidyne 300/285 HP would be marked ENDT676. -

Yes, that is water cooled. I have a 285 setup and it is "dry". Turbo should be ok.

The cable is available from Mack or a speedo shop could make one up. Just need to get the length you want to use.
