  1. Did he have to rev it up so the generator would power up the lights?
  2. They always wanted a sunroof.
  3. Nicely Done! No fuss, just Git R Done!
  4. That is pretty much the story. Decent low end torque but not a high rpm motor. A B30 back in the day would have been a local truck. It would have been used in town or between towns. Probably most were geared to run up to 45-50 mph.
  5. Good stuff Joe. My "guess" must have had ALL the options! Nothing better than original information, brochures or parts books to get the straight scoop.
  6. I would speculate that a brand new 1955 B30 would have been around $8,000-$9,000. A new Cadillac of the era was around $6,000-6,500.
  7. Holy Shit! I am looking at a picture on a computer screen and I am scared! That's a BIG 'UN! Side note, how about sending the Winnfall wimmmin fishergirl north of the Mason Dixon line?
  8. Nice! You will be stylin' for sure.
  9. You could have told her your name is Other Dog and you were admiring her bag of treats.
  10. Is there a crushed velour upholstery kit for the D150?
  11. May have some possibilities there. Too bad they couldn't take a few minutes for some nice photos without the blue tarp.
  12. You won't know until you try it.
  13. Very nice! If in 1:1 scale, I would say that DiPlacido in Mass had just picked up a new truck.
  14. Nah, that is the reinforcement for the cup holder so you can get the Big Gulp at 7-11....
  15. Sadly, the shop teacher's nickname was Stumpy.
  16. Home Ec...where the girls are. Why do people rob banks...?
  17. Beer recipes, BBQ recipes, Hot sauce recipes, Gardening adventures, Did you take Home Ec in school?
  18. Impressive! The R model is a killer piece.
  19. If she didn't like Dysarts, could have headed over to Cole's Museum and check out the train, trucks and carriages that they have on display. Or stopped at a fashion outlet mall.......
  20. Rain is no good for a vacation. Last visit was in late fall and things had settled down a bit. The wave action was good so Thunder Hole in Acadia was living up to its name.
  21. It is posted on Youtube right after Bambi and Thumper.
  22. Hmmm....is that the Canadian crude that explodes? If so, straps aren't your biggest worry.
