  1. Sounds good RP! Hmmm...... you will have to expand the hoop building.
  2. First year for the K5 Blazer in the GM lineup.
  3. Last one is a B-57 S. It has the short hood and fender assembly with a flat back cab. A B-53 uses the same sheet metal as a B-61
  4. 1966 was the last year for the B models. Sort of fun to think you could have an "old" 1964 U model or a 1965 R model parked next to a new B!
  5. Seen info showing 1979 is the last with the Superliner starting in 1977.
  6. Found a picture on the web. Good looking rig!
  7. http://www.wattstruckcenter.com/store/index.php?route=product/product&path=59_68&product_id=189 The gasket lock strip would be needed as well.
  8. Thanks BDB for the further info!
  9. There were more than 4,000 Hayward RL and 5,000 Hayward RS trucks built. I haven't seen a further breakdown indicating how many trucks got a particular brand or model of engine.
  10. Saw this rig today. I think it may be a WWII Chevrolet G 506 crash truck. Wasn't able to confirm for sure. Later served the Peru Fire Department in Vermont.
  11. SPN#102, FMI#2 ― Intake Manifold Pressure Sensor Circuit Data Incorrect.
  12. I have been totally overwhelmed with all these major 1" snows this year! My push broom is getting a workout. The local weather folk are certainly going to get Oscar awards for the drama added to each forecast
  13. Fine looking ride! I took a picture of a 1985 Cat powered non-star a few years back and liked the look of the routing for the pipes.
  14. I have one similar to the pair above that measures 15.75" X 8.5" with the 6 mounting holes. I think it may fit an F model COE but I have never confirmed that. I usually forget I even have it stuck between a couple of boxes on a shelf. Another use might be the DMM where the panel is mounted vertically.
  15. Randy, my condolences to you and your entire family. Good memories of your Mom will last forever.
  16. Dump trailers will need lots of oil to raise the bed so a tank is needed. Hydraulic oil tanks, in my part of the world, are usually mounted on the tractor for dump trailer work.
  17. Happy Birthday PT! Here's to a great year!
  18. Probably still better than working a horse and wagon all day!
  19. Handsome and tough!

  20. Have fun with your new purchase!
  21. With the price of scrap being close to zero, after the cost of cutting them up and trucking to the scrap yard, you will have pretty much no money for the effort. Good thinking! Have a nice day.
