  1. Wish my 59 Mack sat level. It isn't too bad but is a little low on the driver's side. It is low if I am sitting in it or not...
  2. Chrysler made some industrial Hemi 331's. Would the neighbors like that instead....?
  3. Bethlehem, CT is June 7 and 8. Johnston, RI is June 8. Macungie is June 13 and 14. Brooklyn, CT is June 22.
  4. I tried a bunch of ways and bailed on IE and went with Firefox and the link posted first time. Go figure? Firefox seems more customer friendly.
  5. I wonder if they found the septic tank with the mixer?
  6. Wirtgen and concrete? Yikes!
  7. Now that is a Super Duper Trucker!
  8. I can see the sign now for Battlestar Spring Shop. Open nights and weekends. Hmmm.....Mustang and clutch work? My '85 GT really needs a new clutch cable quadrant under the dash.....
  9. Have not looked for shock parts in a while but I don't think new parts are out there. Probably could fab some brackets for a modern shocks. More than likely your tie rod is course on one side and fine on the other. It could be changed to right and left thread with a new cross tube and tie rods if needed.
  10. Holy Shit!
  11. Don't be a criminal, the guv'ment doesn't like the competition.
  12. KooL wrecker!
  13. That is just a speed bump.
  14. From Barry at Watt's Mack. Mack interior green. Omni PPG acrylic enamel #MAE45735 (Profit reading # 1335) Original is Kirker # 812 (812A). You can check it out on the site wiki. http://www.bigmacktrucks.com/index.php?/tutorials/article/45-b-model-interior-green-paint-code/
  15. Somewhere I read an article about the landscape fleet and quite a few of the trucks have modern running gear with the vintage sheetmetal. Certainly is an eye catching fleet!
  16. It's official, Spring has reached the NEK of VT!
  17. Navistar may be so cash strapped that they did a deal for the cab??? But why? Ugly in my eyes. If CAT is really going to get back into the truck market, start with a new cab! They sold a ton of motors to the boys running PACCAR products so make a really nice cab to get them interested.
  18. Welcome! Nice looking service rig.
  19. Looks like a score! Hope it works out. Not just talking about the secretary either...
  20. A 1986 R686ST had a base price of $73,720.00.
  21. Welcome! Looked over your B at Hudson several times.
  22. If it is, I hope they have the snorkel hooked up....
  23. Mack recommends Never-Seez or synthetic white lead on the threads. 5/8 200-225 lbs. 3/4 350-385 lbs. 7/8 550-600 lbs. The wrench you have will work fine. I have the numbers for 1" or above if needed.
