  1. The training meeting will be a refresher course in Anatomy. Qualifing credits will be issued for doctors, EMT's, First Responders, and code enforcement officers. Prizes will awarded for those that maintain eye to eye contact.
  2. Hmmm.....maybe the dogs knew they would see a show? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4i_GFrlaStQ
  3. I believe it is called a "B train". Quite a few in Canada and Australia.
  4. Since it is your birthday and I didn't get you boob cake.
  5. If the frac pumpers are in WV, maybe they will continue east to DC. There is a serious need for some fracking there. Certainly we are all getting fracked by them.
  6. Very nice! You can take it off your bucket list now
  7. It seems the new cables run dry with a spring steel shaft and plastic outer housing. A couple of drops of a 3 in 1 type oil or something really light isn't going to hurt. As far as the tip being broken??? Does it look like it get cut by a little burr in the 90 degree adapter? Make sure everything spins freely.
  8. As the original poster, in the upper right just above your post will be a button that says "Topic Moderation". Click on it and it will say delete.
  9. Yeah, last time I took the scenic route through Bridgeport on 95, the scenery on either side of the road was looking pretty special.
  10. I call it the drive tip but can't say that is the official name. Mack would probably be a good place because you might get a blank stare if you ask at Autozone. Speedo and tach cables sold by Mack come with a bag of various ends so probably there are a few kicking around loose in the mechanics toolboxes.

    F MODELS

    Looks Good!
  12. Probably more than I could handle!
  13. Always wanted a Bridgeport.
  14. Just needs a fresh battery...
  15. Yup, those are the ones in the picture. Soooo......you're getting 10 Cruisers for one Rawhide? That is my kind of math! Glad one is finding its way to Iowa.
  16. At my local Mack parts dealer, Bendix 3030 parking/service chambers on special for $40.00 ea. Bendix still seems to be a good brand.
  17. Is there enough room to leave the old one in place and mount an aftermarket condensor between the grilldensor and the radiator? Not too many Cruisers around and I have never checked it out.
  18. A couple people I know had Scanias and they did pretty well. All had smaller motors. A couple were in Mack R400 series trucks. Parts avalibilty for the Scania can be tough but then again even getting parts for R models now can be tough.
  19. Welcome! Any pics are always appreciated. UPS used a couple of Macks in their fleet...
  20. Yeah, the low side wouldn't be too bad but the high side would be interesting!
  21. Is this a TRDXL 10780? If so, first gear will go from a 49.22 (with 5.73) to 33.24 (with 3.87). Rev is 50.48 (with 5.73) to 34.09 (with 3.87). It still should be pretty decent in the yard. On the other side, which engine do you have and will it like trying to pull a load with a 2.39 ratio when it is in sixth gear? 3.87 X .62 = 2.39 Sixth gear @ 2100 rpm will now give you 105 mph.
  22. Maybe Spicer was trying to save the fire companies some money by combining the siren function with the transmission???
  23. That jobsite must have been quick sand!
