  1. Keystone is on my list. Just need to get myself in gear and get there.
  2. On the machine pad where the gear ratio is stamped, there will be a carrier number such as CRDPC92 (front) and CRD93 (rear). These are numbers from the 1980's. Don't have newer numbers, maybe the same? That will let you compare between the carriers you are looking at. Back in the 80's, depending how the truck was built, you could have the same carrier in a 38 as well as a 44. The axle housings were different but the carriers were same.
  3. Road Trip!
  4. Sad news. Sorry ECD.
  5. The factory design is one transverse rod on the rear axle.
  6. The transverse rod will tighten things up. Are the trunion bushings and the spring box rubbers good? If they are worn out, adding the transverse rod won't solve it.
  7. WTH? You just saw the turkeys and then you go and make wings out of them? Bet they tasted Great!
  8. Yes, your truck is fast with 4.17's and a 2090 giving a final drive of 2.96. You won't loose much, 4-6 mph probably. Was the truck built as a dump?
  9. Best to obey the signage above the fender opening.
  10. Don't forget about Uranus...
  11. Never had one. A friend's wife had one and she put a ton of miles on it in Boston and she sold it to another friend that put a ton of miles on it. I think they had to throw a fuel pump into the tank once.
  12. You could go with 4.64's. You will loose some mph out on the road but it will be better off road.
  13. Excellent symbolism for passing safely on the tailgate!
  14. Pringles were invented in 1967 and were worldwide by 1975 according to the world wide intra-web device. Who would have thunk it?
  15. Here is a link with details. http://www.keystonetractorworks.com/
  16. Yup, red paint is more $$$.
  17. Try to get engine and trans because someday somebody will need it.
  18. Is that a U model Dodge and he is trying to balance it out? I guess if it works, he doesn't need the optional kick stand.
  19. Winter was too long and harsh for the wimmin. They seem to have a little unnecessary attitude.
  20. Have fun at MATS! Maybe a Hooters or Kilt nearby and you could take some pics. I mean pics of trucks at the show......
  21. It is stamped where it says auto lock Mack in your picture. There is a machine pad where it will say the ratio. It actually is a little below the yellow marker.
  22. I would lean toward a single frame.
  23. Yup, black fits that car perfectly! Don't remember seeing it in black at all. The middle picture is the color I remember. Good stuff!
