  1. This will get you started. A little newer but the basic stuff is the same. http://www.bigmacktrucks.com/index.php?/tutorials/article/55-r-model-wiring-diagram/
  2. I sent a PM a while back. Maybe needs bail money?
  3. With all the resources of Ford, it is a shame that they are striving to be just average.
  4. In Macungie but from the Land of Lincoln.
  5. Also search the BMT forums because that subject has been around and there are some pictures posted with ideas for hitch plates. Like... http://www.bigmacktrucks.com/index.php?/topic/34317-mounting-a-pintle-plate-to-tractor/?hl=pintle
  6. If it goes back on the road, might want to reconnect the puff limiter. Just saying... Looks great pulling!
  7. He should have registered it as an RV if it has cooking facilities.
  8. Yes, it is.
  9. A single axle, there will be a crossmember where the front and rear springs attach to the frame. This will maximize the strength. Between the rear cab crossmember and the "front" spring cross member, there usually is not a cross member as show in the diagram unless you are going for a longer wheelbase single axle rig. It was used on the LJX though.
  10. Some of our Aussie mates will have to chime in on this one. Sending a pump and injectors to the US would be fairly pricey. It would also be a big pain in the neck if it got lost between here and there.
  11. His cousin is the one that stands outside showing you the approaching tornado.
  12. KooL! Who needs a factory to build trucks when the weather is so nice in CA to build them outdoors.
  13. True. It does depend on who you are with though.
  14. My truck is buried and can't get to it. This is a picture of another truck from Macungie. Enlarging it looses the detail. Larry's is much better. The cables go through the eyelets and a small barrel shape set screw secures it. The cable sheaths than are secured with a cable clamp to a bracket.
  15. Back in the dark ages of high school, a science teacher once said that HP is for speed and torque is for getting work done. He drank a lot of coffee. Always wondered what was in his coffee mug? I would go with the 237 to get work done.
  16. No need for crime scene tape. There will be enough oil evidence for the police report.
  17. Don't forget your rubbers. .....I mean overshoes.
  18. Try Iowa 80. If there is a chrome accessory for trucks, they probably have it. http://www.iowa80.com/‎
  19. They are electric switches that someone has added more than likely for battery shut offs. Look under the cab and follow the wires.
  20. Glad to hear the blue and white one is in good hands. It had been owned by Ben Gagliano in NJ and also spent some time at the Golden Age of Trucking Museum in CT until it closed a few years ago.
  21. The black one pictured at Meehan's place may be the one getting stretched and modified for a fellow in CT.
