  1. That mill model is KooL! The dump truck on the trailer was pushing the height sticks. Nice pics of the wildlife!
  2. I believe it is a non turbo diesel B-61.
  3. Block truck with a Thermodyne 300 Plus under the hood.
  4. Some where I have a picture of his 1969 R-611 but damned if I can find it!
  5. Interesting story and great photograph!
  6. In 1986, the yoke adjustment was 0.010. Possibly the same for 1987.
  7. Handsome tractor parked in the sun.
  8. All US Superliners are a model RW. Our friends Down Under will have to comment if the RW was used on their version also. The newer Superliners in Australia are a CLXT, I believe.
  9. Here's to a safe, healthy and prosperous New Year!
  10. Happy New Year Billy! The Mack W-71 is blue with the white stripe that says Western Gillette on the door. The truck with New Dixie on the door is an E model Mack COE such as a model EHU.
  11. The fire service was very wary of early diesel powered trucks not starting and many departments kept gasoline as their fuel source well into the 70's. The first diesel powered fire trucks built by Mack were three 1960 B model pumpers that served Hamilton, Bermuda. By the middle 60's, Mack Trucks diesel engine reliability had many convinced and more departments started ordering the diesel option. Mack continued to offer gasoline engines (EN707A) until 1973 or so with the CF608F and R608F models.
  12. That is correct. Commercial chassis and fire equipment designated differently.
  13. L85 is a fire truck designation oem powered by a Mack gasser.
  14. Now I just need the rest of the truck!
  15. Nice! Spare rim on the deck plate and a small mirror compared to the west coast mirror that would later become the standard.
  16. You have a fabulous Superliner! Think it might have been at Hudson about 2013. How many miles are on it now? Not sure if it is even broke in!
  17. Looks great! Merry Christmas!
  18. This 3M material is nice for wood grain applications. https://www.3m.com/3M/en_US/company-us/all-3m-products/~/3M-DI-NOC-Architectural-Finishes-Fine-Wood-FW-614-1220-mm-x-50-m/?N=5002385+3293040211&rt=rud
  19. Everyone has an agenda these days. No one can claim the the truth. If "news" organizations, Trump, Pelosi, McConnell and anyone else all said the sky was blue. I would still look up to verify. Impeachment was not the best scheme for the democrats and there are also plenty of times when Donnie needs to stay off twitter and wisely craft the words he wants to use. Gee whiz, quid pro quo has been used since George Washington accepted assistance from the French in the Revolutionary War. And this was the Dems basis?
  20. 10-4 on Waltham. TheBostonTrucker works out of a shop in that neighborhood a couple of miles east of 128.
  21. Thanks Fred for stopping in with more details.
