  1. The ATCA Double Clutch magazine featured this picture on the inside back cover in their Feb/March 2008 issue. I didn't see any detailed information listed for the truck in the magazine. Looks like the hood says Borough of Steelton.
  2. WoW! No need to practice breaking anything, you have it figured out!! Certainly is an interesting way for a casting to break.
  3. Maybe a future MH owner?

  13. Wise that there is a fence separating the dog from the cat.
  14. Sometimes old chrome could be saved with very careful use of triple 0 steel wool to remove imperfections. Doubtful with chromed plastic. Maybe practice with "chrome" paint from the hobby store? It may be suitable for just very small parts though. Paul or Pawel would know more. Several video clip on chrome plastic on Youtube which may give you some ideas.
  15. Nothing wrong with it and your description is correct.
  16. Welcome to the party! Watch out for the deep end of the pool...
  17. Lots of IH trucks were set up with center point. Excellent observation on the F model Mike.
  18. Drom deck or center point steering?
  19. The best way to do it is also the hardest and that is to take them all apart. Sometimes the rust twist and cracks things so badly that putting new rails on IS the economical way to go. For folks on the east coast, a call to PG Adams in Vermont will get some really nice new frame rails to do the job correctly. I would think that there are frame vendors in the mid-west and west who offer the service.
  20. Never had crab cakes but plenty of fish.
  21. I was never very good at spelling.
  22. Is that some sort of fancy Hors d' oeuvre? Time to go shopping at the Piggly Wiggly!
  23. Before the tree attacked it, might have been a easy restoration. Hopefully, with a new cab, it can be a nice winch tractor once again.
  24. That would be good if overweight is not an issue. OD gets demerits for so many other things...
