  1. When are we starting a petition drive to get that scenic stretch of highway in IA listed on the National Registry of Historic Places?
  2. It is some great eye candy! Should try to find the owner and get him on the forum to tell the story behind the truck. Bet there is a lot of history there.
  3. A good day gets better when the Winfall wimmin stop by to visit.
  4. Somebody may have to crack open the piggy bank.
  5. Probably. Just a bunch of morons in the "beltway" anyways. Remember, don't be a criminal because the government and esp. senators and congress don't like the competition!
  6. There is a bunch called "Diamond T rubber" that makes it. They advertise in the mags and have a website but I can't seem to link to it. A google search will get you there. They have A, E, L rubber bits and pcs. Tried again www.diamondtrubber.com Well, it is supposed to work?
  7. If you can't find the rope, Tozzi can help with a lead hammer.
  8. I looked through some web pages about Guerrerra's museum and the Binder was one his. It has gone from one museum to another.
  9. Excellent pics! Looks like a great show. I would try the same deal once or twice with the Binder. Not sure if i would want to do it daily. Always interesting to imagine working on a cabover where the cab doesn't tilt. Hmmm......sort of like working on a B where the fenders don't move at all. Thank goodness for them new fangled tilt hoods and cabs!
  10. Yummmy! New parts! So much better than trying to get some butchered and mangled old part to work as new. Yes, pictures will be required.
  11. I am thinking a new puppy could wear out the whole family!
  12. Excellent observation!
  13. I sort of think that the Highbinder may be from Guerrara's museum (now closed) in CT.
  14. OK. I hadn't run into that around here (yet).
  15. Ponytails can prove to be very useful. Ah, have been told that you can hang on better or something......?
  16. You have some fun looking iron there!
  17. Quite a few Mack "service dealers" dealers in the northeast are also PAI dealers.
  18. That's a Bruiser! Very nice!
  19. It has 10R22.5 with 4.10 ratio will run 64-65 on the high side. Usually stay to about 60 mph because everything seems a little happier there.
  20. Have an RT-910 in a 1969 Brockway with a DD 6-71 and it does pretty good. Sometimes it might be nice to have a little bit of an OD when on the road but not enough of a problem to think about changing it out for something else. Jim
  21. Also useful for when you find the person stealing truck doors in the mid west...
  22. That is such a cool wrecker! Seen pics a couple of times and it is sweet.
