    Mack Rears

There is a machined pad on the right front corner of the carrier that will have the ratio stamped in it. Don't think you can get the ratio from the casting number. Jim
  3. That's the way to do it!
  4. Hmmm.....do you mean that all deliveries aren't washed by hand and waxed to a brilliant shine?
  5. Some more porn. http://www.ebay.com/itm/81-Mack-U-model-single-axle-daycab-tractor-semi-truck-5-speed-/231063163532?forcerrptr=true&hash=item35cc70128c&item=231063163532&pt=Commercial_Trucks
  6. OMG! A Binder? Welcome, I guess..... We do have quotas to fill, so pull up a chair and visit. Excellent job by including a picture in your post. This bunch can even appreciate a posted picture of paint drying on a slow day. Jim
  7. Watch out for the guys attending the show using an alias. The name tag could be a forgery.
  8. SPAM..... a product that has a shelf life of about a billion years. Maybe two billion?
  9. That is some good look grunge and filth buildup! Bonus is the broken wire. A little dab of dielectric grease on your connection might not be a bad idea.
  10. It is all pretty bad but chicken is at the top of the list!
  11. If it comes with a matching trailer, a garage to park it in, a cabin on a lake and the paperwork for a bridge in NY city, I will take it!
  12. I haven't tried it but have heard that a range of paint product line made by SEM is good for interior work plastic to vinyl. http://www.semproducts.com/
  13. Between Brockway 700 series trucks and Mack cabs, there might be some pretty good interest in the visor. Just a guess.
  14. If a Mack carrier says it is a 4.17 (for example), it is a 4.17.
  15. Go where the money is!
  16. To protect your rights, please contact a patent lawyer for your gizmos....ah, inventions! "Could be a lot of money in your future!" I got that last line out of a fortune cookie.
  17. RD-685SX Specification Brochure dated 1980.
  18. Great picture! Sorry about the motor problem.
  19. I believe the RS brochure date is 1985. The R-700ST brochure is 1977 Jim
  20. That's going to be a BIG shelf! Looks cool!
  21. Guess they know their trucks (V####) won't make it that far?
  22. 9.02, that's a logging ratio!
  23. Not that I have heard. You will also need tire size and know your overdrive ratio to do your calculations.
