  1. Looks like a decorative cover over a steel wheel?
  2. I have a brochure for a B75LS showing a 10 1/2 tall frame at the rear of the truck and 12 1/8 dimension from the back of the front springs to a couple of feet behind the cab. Jim
  3. Now that is a score! Very interesting about the frame.
  4. Depending on use, rails in the floor are good for securing cars. I like leaving the floor alone and keeping it smooth. There are many options for devices that attach to wall e track and load bars to keep you out of trouble. Jim
  5. Your daily commute sucks!!! That is the long direction to travel in VT!
  6. Pizza pie or piece of pie.....Hmmmm?
  7. Haha! NO deposit, no return...
  8. Rt. 142 and Main St. Talk about a magical intersection!
  9. Yup, Clockwise. Do NOT go counter-clockwise. That will make a mess!
  10. And Elmo wasn't talking....
  11. AT TDC set No. 1, then turn crankshaft 1/4 turn clockwise and adjust No 5., etc. following the firing order. 1 5 4 8 6 3 7 2 Some balancers are marked with four timing marks at 90 intervals showing TDC for each cylinder piston. Early balancers only have No 1 TDC, use a marker to make three more TDC's 90 degrees apart for adjusting valves. Jim
  12. Excellent pictures and information!
  13. Macks ownership of Brockway goes back to 1956.
  14. OK, weight about the same. Thanks.
  15. The VIN will tell the part number for the strap at the dealer.
  16. I am not up on CAT equipment but how does a 315CL compare to a 215? Talking to a friend on the phone who bought a 315 at an auction and he took it home on a tag along trailer. Jim
  17. The best part would be an AMERICAN company.
  18. They put the classy vehicle in the center.
  19. I have an Eastwood epoxy repair kit coming my way to tune up a wheel that has seen better days. A friend used the Eastwood kit a few years ago and said the results were pretty good. We'll see!
  20. Had a great time at Macungie! I was able to meet Dodgeman and sell some parts and Mike Yarnall to buy some parts. Then visited with Ken at the MH Martian Mack and Ron Smith at his Mack pickup. There is so much to do and see! Got detoured so I missed the picture and meeting lots of people so I will have to do better next year. Jim
  21. Keep after him Paul.
  22. How well will this work if you under Witness Protection? I already have to avoid Post Offices.
  23. Hope you get it. That interior picture is sad. Instead of it getting worse, get the truck into the hands of somebody that will bring it back.
  24. Excellent! I like the Overdrive magazine on the dash board. Jim
  25. Some days are more interesting than others. Lots of Mack oil field rig up trucks spend time with their front axle in the air and Autocars. Not recommended work for other brands.
