  1. Thanks Mackman. I hadn't thought about that system. Jim
  2. When the trans was going in or out did a fuel line get crushed but doesn't "look" like it is crushed?
  3. Also looks like a spark arrestor on the top of stack which would make sense. Jim
  4. Let the games begin! Looks good Mike and best of all it will be a family affair. Yes, there are some problems in that floor but really doesn't look too bad. Jim
  5. Belongs to Joseph Equipment in Manchester, NH. Been there for many years.
  6. Hicks Building Movers is located in Sturbridge, MA, if I recall correctly, which is about 1.5 hours away from me. I have never seen it but it looks KooL! Heavy Duty! A variation on the M series rock trucks. Might be time for some recon.
  7. Warning!!! EVERBODY should stay the hell away from this truck!!! In the ad it says it needs a clutch. STAY FAR AWAY!!!! Now, where is that guys phone number.......
  8. That is quite a ride! What a monster! Wish you the best in your pursuit. Jim
  9. That truck or identical truck was sold out of NJ to someone in WA or Oregon. A while later it was for sale on flea bay still showing Highpoint on the doors. I don't remember any details as to price or if it sold or not.
  10. Hello Dan, I don't want to say "all" buuuut, all the 6 bangers that I have seen have a pipe that is a 30-45 degree bend (depending on application) on R, U, RW vs. your 90 degree bend for the first pipe out of the turbo. The pipe for the 6 is made out of thin wall exhaust steel and is retained by a V style exhaust clamp. In the picture, yours has the look of being cast material. I assume you are looking for another 90 degree bend section? Jim
  11. No, no, no....she is not Mac quality control. She is in charge of sales and always seems to fill her quota. Go fiqure?
  12. How the hell did them nekkid wimin infiltrate your post?
  13. IS it a 1961 B61 sleeper? B's were not made in 1969.
  14. Number 1. We need pictures. Number 2. My thought would be about $15,000 to 17,000 for msrp for the truck. Number 3. Good Luck with your purchase to get it back in the family! Number 4. We need pictures!
  15. Sort of see a name and a town plus NJ painted on the hood. Just can't make it out. Is that a Weldon sleeper or Able? Jim
  16. New Years is bogus. I can drink and act stupid on any day. Having Christmas start before Thanksgiving is ridiculous. A friends place of work has their Christmas party the week after Thanksgiving. Sort of dilutes Thanksgiving festivities. So many holidays have been contrived and ruined and their real meaning not remembered. Jim PS. Hope everyone has a good 2013 with or without a day of bs and celebration(?).
  17. The filter looking item in the box is the air to air with a small turbo type fan forcing air through it to cool the turbocharged air to the intake manifold. Used on 285 and 300+ and have been retrofitted to 350's as well in B model conversions when there is no place for other styles of air to airs.
  18. My B75 is running a 285 hp tip turbine setup and it is a relatively straight forward change. Jim
  19. How about the rubber mounted center bearing on the driveshaft? Jim
  20. Does anyone know where the "glow in the dark" yellow B model dump truck of SantaBarbara from the New Haven area is?
  21. Hi Larry, I have casually looked at the steering column differences and never came to a complete conclusion. On my B75 with L cab , it has a "bent" column. On a friend's B75 with a standard cab, he has a bent column. On several B755 L cab with V8 engines that I have looked at, the column is straight. I haven't been able to check a V8 B755 with standard cab to see if it is also straight. Soooo....I don't know. Did the steering box stays the same between the two styles of column? Did they have to rotate sightly the bolt holes in the frame to line the shaft up? Probably something could be fabricated to suit your needs. Maybe try to make a template with cardboard or wire to see if the "bend" is going to gain enough to make it worth while for you. I am not aware of any B753 with a concave cab, pretty sure all were straight back cabs. The B75 was the stretched out setup with longer hood and filler panels. Jim
  22. Yup, that is the deal. Send a check with your truck info and what you get back will be well worth it. The info back from the museum may take a little time depending on how busy they are but it is still worth the wait. Jim
  23. Think it is the ENDT 675 Maxidyne, turbocharged 237hp. We will see if my brain needs some WD-40. Can you check the tag on the engine? Might have been swapped sometime.
