  1. Sounds good. 10R22.5 would be real close to the 900/20. 11R22.5 may be OK as well. Have to watch that the the tire doesn't rub the drag link when you are making a left turn.
  2. What the hell FT! Getting pretty greedy on the 60!! That sucks though and a ton of work. Time to go back and slow down the front shocks a little.
  3. Super scary when a front U joint lets go!
  4. It will be better with the weight of the engine and trans in place. I also have used a little layer of dish soap so the rubber can moved around a bit and settle into the box/cap as you tighten up the bolts. I like using a hand ratchet to tighten in an X pattern. If something isn't going correctly you will know it with hand tools.
  5. Dang Bob! Good thing you saw that penny in the parking lot and picked it up because you needed some good luck! Esp. not getting back on the road..... Yikes!
  6. Good looking launch! Nice that you have had a day or two to sort the chassis!
  7. 1976 Brockway N-760TL tractor.
  8. That is the style radio used in R, DM and U models. Probably in the F model also. Been many days since I have been in an F model with a factory radio.
  9. It is good to have people for that.
  10. One hell of a buff and polish!
  11. I don't know how to do a bulk clearing of attachments. If you go the post with an att. you want to remove, just use the edit feature and put the att. in the trash can. IDK on the PM situation.
  12. Excellent job on a FoMoCo parts truck!
  13. Nice! My arms are tired just looking at the pictures.
  14. Looks like a pretty good score!
  15. Been said before but St. Lou sure had a heavy Ford dealer(s) taking care of business! The 352 Pete looks good.
  16. When the rubber meets the road! The pic of the front rubber looks a little snug. Power assist could be an option or with a little recon work you might be able to find a power box out of a newer medium duty truck to retrofit.
  17. Have fun with your project!
  18. There won't be a lot of info for hop up. Low rpm truck motor with valves in block. Probably something to look at would be an upgrade to Pertronix ignition. The OEM was a Delco distributor and kits should be available for neg or pos ground. https://pertronixbrands.com/pages/pertronix-ignition
  19. You can see the Detroit 671 under the hood of a 1969 IH Fleetstar 2000. Most of the engine is really in the cab. It is pretty clean which must mean it is out of oil...
  20. Yes, the 300 Plus did have tip turbine.
  21. Had to change my primary care physician. My blood pressure was way too high during checkups!
  22. About 3,300 A-50s were built but there is probably only a handful left. Twice as many A-40s were built with only a small number are still around. The correct long eared dog and emblems can be found on ebay every so often. I have seen some dogs in the 80-100 area, the "Mack" script 40-50 and up and A model emblem aren't as frequent and can be 50-60 and up.
  23. Yup, lots of interchangeable parts and pieces.
  24. Lots of work and it is looking good!
  25. Nice! You picked a good day to go to an auction!
