  1. With the horizontal grille louvers, I will say around 1951 White WC26. Not versed in engines for White Trucks but in that era, the Cummins 743 diesel engine was available.
  2. You could try here. https://www.carbkitsource.com/models/Zenith 63 - 263M.html
  3. Got a ride to the show and just needs a little polish. Aluminum cab, set forward axle, 6 X 4 layout.
  4. The Maxidyne is OK lugging the motor along. The Thermodyne isn't really a lugging motor. It likes some rpm. For hobby use, a little lugging won't get you into too much trouble. Just keep it in mind when driving. In vocational activity, the R611 would have been mated to something like a duplex 10 speed transmission (two gear sticks) so there were more gear splits to keep the engine in the proper rpm range.
  5. The R611 will be a 50 mph truck. Either an OD trans. or new rear gear will up the mph. A 4.00 rear gear will get you in the range you want.
  6. Never throw anything away until the treasure hunt is complete!
  7. Please also don't forget to bring a suit against Google images.
  8. 2RU135F is hood to radiator and hood to cab welting material. 269AXF is beaded vinyl welting for the fender (front) to headlight panels. 22QM21 is the fender (rear) to cab rubber welting.
  9. Nice find and looks pretty good from here. Excellent combo for your tractor. All hobbies use plenty of loose change!
  10. Heard about this rig the other day and knew it was the one and only! Built new on a commercial chassis. Winhall is a fairly easy trip from my bunker so I might have to stop by the fire dept next time I travel that way.
  11. I have seen the trucks in pictures from different shows so they do get around.
  12. Fairly rare sight these days.
  13. I know the deal but I wish more trucks weren't painted in "universal fleet white".
  14. Looks like a great place to have an adventure!
  15. The DM and R models started in 1965. The U model started in 1964. The F model COE started in 1963.
  16. Don't see too many single axle DM models.
  17. The 45 and 505 are really nice!
  18. A single axle LT is about 10,500 lbs. A B753LS (tandem) is 13,300 lbs.
  19. It is a Mack diesel (E), turbocharged (T), series aftercooler (S), emissions level (Z), Dynatard engine brake (B). As the tag shows, it is a 350 HP based on the 672 displacement block.
  20. A fine example of Mack's exceptional COE. It appeared to have LED headlights or updated lights of some sort.
  21. After Evel's Mack was on display at the Mack Museum, it went on tour. It is now at the Evel Knievel Museum which is part of Historic Harley-Davidson in Topeka, Kansas. http://evelknievelmuseum.com/ https://www.ttnews.com/articles/evel-knievels-big-red-mack-restored-documentary-famous-daredevil-photos-video
  22. We need a couple pics of an F model!
  23. I copied and saved the image to my computer. Did some editing and loaded them back in.
