  1. OK. I will take the bait. Who are the "undesirables" that need to be dismissed? We have personal politics AND political correctness? How can we have both at the same time? "Coupled with incessant blabbering about nothing, or the same thing over and over really gets annoying and dispatches participation." Boy, I am in deep because I keep talking about Mack Trucks. I better do some thinking on this...
  2. A couple more Dogs at Macungie. The 1987 is a V8.
  3. A few folks are missing. Gearhead204, 57 bcr Al, PeterMack also. Must be on vacation at the beach?
  4. Congratulations on finding your better half!
  5. Stop in when you can.
  6. Yes, the Contour Cab was available on B42, B44, B60, B61, B65, B66, B68, plus others. Depending on model, the truck may have a standard length hood/fender combo or the short hood such as the B67. Follow the link and open the pdf for a further comparison. https://www.bigmacktrucks.com/tutorials/article/11-b-model-cab-data/
  7. Don't have details to convert to a full flow oil set up but here is a link using a spin on canister type bypass filter. It may provide a little more filtering capability. https://www.bigmacktrucks.com/topic/3364-oil-filter-cartridges-for-707-gas-engine/
  8. I have seen a couple Hall-Scott equipped Mack LT models. I haven't seen a 707 powered LT in person that I can recall. Years ago, I was shown an old fuzzy photograph purported to be an LT with a Mack motor but the truck was pretty messed up and I wasn't sure it was an actual LT. I thought it looked more like an LH. An LT painted army olive drab would fit in your collection!
  9. The Mack 707 gasoline engine and the Hall-Scott gasoline engine were both available for use in the LT models. I know we have talked about the Hall-Scott models a little. I believe you are correct in never having a discussion about a Mack gasoline powered LT.
  10. Big Dawg with an E9! The RD822 was produced between 1982-1990 with 233 units built.
  11. Good looking rig that is part of the Mack Museum Collection.
  12. Bet it could tell some stories.
  13. Replumb the gate air directly to your air tank with a separate old style air switch. No electronics, no nothing. Works when you want it to work.
  14. As seen at the Mack Trucks Historical Museum.
  15. Welcome aboard!
  16. I couldn't get close but I believe this is an Oshkosh (1950?). Would speculate that the blower attachment is a SnoGo brand. I know that Walter had a "Snow Fighter" model. I just called this a snow fighter. No idea what model Oshkosh it might be.
  17. No snow in the forecast here with 84 degrees and sunny. More than likely served the town of Perry, NY. Currently located in western Mass.
  18. I was hoping to see what gear ratio was stamped on the carriers but I couldn't because of the fifth wheel plate and design of the rear fenders.
  19. A B-833 from my past had 22" on the front and 20" on the rear. It had pulled a Michigan Centipede. Must have been a midwest deal? Different look than a NE/NY spec.
  20. Very true. A couple of examples. TRXL107 or TRXL 107A Low 1st 14.10, Direct 1st 8.59, 2nd 4.99, 3rd 2.84, 4th 1.66, 5th 1.00 TRXL1071 or TRXL1071A Low 1st 23.08 Direct gears are some as above
  21. Actually Kamp from Mokena which is down the street a bit.
  22. What is the transmission model number?
  23. Well.... Ummmm.... Sorry, I thought everyone got the memo.
  24. Band Box Cleaners owned a couple fire trucks. Has anyone called the Tomah Fire Department? They would probably know of fire trucks in their local neighborhood.
