  1. Dang! Hopefully no beer was hurt in the accident. A shortage...? Aaargh! Nice to see you have given your kiddo a walkout deck. Maybe time to hire the kid next door so you rest the wrist.
  2. Actually don't have very many pics of tri axles.
  3. Nice!!
  4. In the late 60's early 70's, my father had a Toro brand push mower with a crank on top. Give it a couple of cranks and then push the throttle lever full ahead and it would engaged and start. Same thing as Hayseed said. The crank was later replaced with a recoil rope start because something with the crank system broke. I don't recall the brand motor that Toro used but it also featured a funnel type oil reservoir on the side of the motor. To check the oil, you pushed a button and if you didn't see through the clear lid any air bubbles come up, the oil level was good. If it did bubble, wait until it stops bubbling and the oil was topped off from the supply in the reservoir.
  5. Where is the truck now? Interesting to see the Farr air cleaner on it. Hmmm..... armed bikini girl at 8:30
  6. Best to confirm your numbers with a PAI dealer for the pump or kit. "Thinking" the kit is EKT-2221 and the pump is ESP-3581. The fuel psi specs are 17-31 for your engine.
  7. If it is the front seal, it isn't a bad job. From a crumpled, smudged piece of paper, the M330 engine front seal is a 49276 and the timing gear cover gasket is T28924. The seal crosses to NAPA NOS 23708. Double check the size once you get in there. I couldn't find a cross for the gasket. It is a flat gasket and could be cut from gasket paper. If there is a groove in the crank, an SKF Speedi-Sleeve will help you out.
  8. There may be an official pattern. IDK? I try to work from the center out on manifolds. Refer to a torque chart depending on fastener size, type of material and threads per inch (TPI). I probably under torque due to not wanting to break a cast iron manifold that may be difficult to replace. As usual, check them again after a few heat cycles.
  9. Have you looked at the inlet (check) as Terry suggested above? It is to keep the fuel primed in the system. The author of a post can also delete them. As to why, I don't know.
  10. It now resides at Joseph's and is For Sale. http://www.josephequipment.com/inventory/?/listings/trucks/for-sale/19966523/1955-autocar-dc100?dlr=1&pcid=2000763270&lo=4
  11. Mirror Tech should be able to help you out. http://mirror-tech.com/mirrortech/mirrortechpages/fendermirrorguides.html
  12. Lots of puzzle pieces but it sure looks like it is going to be better than new!!
  13. The final head torque for a Mack EN 707 is 150 ft lbs. I can't seem to find torque value for the first or second pulls. I would probably go 50 ft lbs on the first round and 100 on the second in sequence. After a little run time, the head bolts should be rechecked.
  14. I think we talked about these about 5 years ago. Huh, would you look at that, they are still available. Who wants a project? No connection to this auction. https://www.ebay.com/itm/NO-Mack-7-1-2-ton-6x6-Prime-Mover-G-532-with-winch-Incomplete-Sold-as-is/361549280667?hash=item542e04359b:g:o9QAAOSw2x1XKkgQ
  15. Parked behind the Freeway Flyer Superliner.
  16. Depending on interests, there is the air museum at Bradley Field which is north of Hartford, CT. The North East Motor Sports Museum is full of local vintage racing equipment at the track in Loudon, NH. I enjoy visiting the "cottages" of Newport, RI. Newport is a fun place but it is also the world's largest zoo during peak summer! https://www.neam.org/index.php https://www.nemsmuseum.com/ https://www.discovernewport.org/
  17. Thanks Bob. I will have to go check the lights out next year.
  18. If you sign on the dotted line for an HX, hope it goes well. Your comments over time have not been positive about the WS. Work is tough enough without having issues with the equipment.
  19. Wish it was mine! None of my ED's look good. The wrecker was at Macungie where I took the picture. I will try for more pics when I see it next.
  20. Check this link for the cab info. The original listing got lost in a site update so scroll down to the second comment and hit the pdf and it should load so you can view. https://www.bigmacktrucks.com/tutorials/article/11-b-model-cab-data/ B production info. https://www.bigmacktrucks.com/tutorials/article/208-b-model-production-info/
